Why are people so stupid?

Thought you ladies would appreciate this, in a horrified kind of way.

My friend put an old, expired, car seat in her garbage and set the garbage out on the curb. She came back out and someone had dug through her can and pulled it out! Wtf people?!?! And of course she forgot to cut the straps!

So of you're ever throwing out a car seat that is unusable don't forget to cut the straps because people are nasty!
We're just hoping they don't actually use it.

    My in-laws tried to give me an old car seat for LO that looked like it was at least 15 years old and meant for a 3 year old...seriously?!

    DANG IT. Why didn't I think to go steal a car seat off the curb? Those things are pricey. :-?

    High chair and baby carrier are far different from a car seat. Get rid of the seat now. Cut the straps. Get a new seat.

    Curb items I wouldn't take that had soft parts to them because of that. I'll buy them used knowing they weren't outside.

    Car seat should never be used. I would maybe consider if it were a good friend or family or something but not knowing? Nope. Your child's life could depend On it.

    The car seat is the one and only thing I refuse to buy used. I told my mom I would do hand-me downs on anything and everything, except the carseat and stroller. I agree @redneckmomma25 - your childs life may depend on it. Not worth the risk.

    Stroller I would buy used no problem. Our double will be used.
