Scarred Cervix after Cerclage?

Does anyone have experience with a possibly scarred cervix due to a cerclage? I had mine removed a week ago, and when I saw my doctor a few days ago he mentioned that it could possibly be scarred over due to the cerclage, as I hadn't dilated at all. I was just curious if anyone dealt with this, and what the outcome was. Were you able to eventually dilate naturally and have a vaginal delivery? Ive read that this is common, but haven't been able to find anything to say what the outcome typically is.

I went in labor with my stitch in and they removed it in between contractions. Once done I had normal labor and delivered vaginal.

i had my cerclage removed when i was 37 weeks preg, finally went into labour at 42 weeks and only managed to dilate to 5/6 cm before they wheeled me in for EMC due to DD's heart rate dropping ! i was told that my cervix could scar but i don't know if it has? i guess i will find out on the 10th Feb when i have another cerclage with this 2nd preg !!

My doctor told I would for sure scar. Just like it you got a stitch anywhere else in your body, but that it doesn't affect ability to have vaginal delivery.

I haven't delivered yet so I don't know how true that is.
