Dr. Appt. Update and new status

This morning I went to meet with the high risk doctor about my repeated losses not expecting much, planning on asking for an RE referral. I was so surprised at how great it went. She said the part of the antibody I tested positive for didn't mean I had it, because all the other parts of the test were negative. I could still get it later, but don't have it now. Hope that makes since.

She said there were only a few other tests needed. The main tests were for the MTHFR mutation and my AMH to be tested. She also doing a thyroid and diabetes test due to family history. The last thing she is doing is running a karotype test on both DH and I's blood to rule out genetic factors. She went ahead and gave me a prescription for baby asprin and a different prenatal in case I tested positive for the MTHFR mutation as the results can take up to 2 weeks to come back. As of right now we will not have to see an RE to determine if the losses are because of AMA, it looks like the high risk dr. can get most of the information that we need. That is a huge financial relief for us.

Later I went for my MC follow up. I am so happy my UTE is clear. She also said from the 3 layers of lining that it looks like I ovulated so hopefully we will see AF in a few weeks and will be back to actively TTC.  I guess I can officially join the 2ww although it means nothing this time around.

I have been with this community of and on for over 1 year.  You guys have been with me through it all.  As much as I would love to be active here, I do not have the time to actively participate on both boards.  Coming from another loss, that seems to be the support I need more and the one on the bump is no more.  I have decided that I will continue to lurk and hope the few ladies I started with that remain will move to PG after 35.  I promise to gif the heck out of your BFP posts.  I love you guys and wish The Doctor was around with a TARDIS to undo this cluster fuck from the last few weeks.  Good luck all!

Hi lcwed,hope it's ok that I post as I've graduated.

I just wanted to say that you and the other ladies who have decided to move on will be missed.

I really feel I have no place at the moment as I haven't fully settled into the Pregnant>35 board yet, but the equivalent board on the new site is non-active.

I hoped to be able to keep an eye on you ladies and see you get BFPs.

But I just wanted to say best wishes to you wherever you are, and that I hope for happiness for you all.

I understand your need of an after loss community. I hope you find the support you need regardless to which site you participate.

@KateLouise‌ I do feel like I don't have a board anymore as well! The PAIF is somewhat still there, but the rest of the pregnancy boards are ghost towns. I hate this!
