im in serious need for nesting to kick in, have lots to do in such a short time. But every time I get some energy it goes away within 10 minutes lol anyone else waiting for nesting to kick it? Hahaha

Im trying in short spurts, although I still can't finalize my hospital bag and I'm due tomorrow. I'm go all at something, rest, continue, rest, then toddler wakes and no more nesting till he sleeps lol.

I was nesting a bit last week but now I'm just so tired. Most of my nesting instinct has translated into making lists of stuff for DH to do. We have a white board in the kitchen and I just keep writing stuff on it and he keeps doing the chores

In what world does that work! I practically have to supervise any chores my dh takes off the list to make sure he even does them or knows what I meant by the chore. I've been nesting hard core! Only on the weekends really though. I'm so exhausted afterwards that taking any on during the week would ruin me for work. Bravo on your husband being so helpful!!

My husband also helps out a lot. I was in the process of doing the dishes and he told me to sit down and relax he would do them. I just wish I could get in that groove, I want to be able to help out and get the house ready. And so far I'm just completely exhausted. Only 9 days till my due date something better kick me in the butt soon tho hahah

I get my nesting spurts here and there. I usually get really tired after one task and say eff it.

Today though, I plan to get as much stuff done. .. And hopefully finish up everything tomorrow. I have an induction scheduled for Friday morning, so if I plan to keep the induction and go through with it everything at home will be done.

I feel the same way. I am hoping that crazy drive will kick in! I have motivation to do some things but no energy once I get going. Unless it's DIY projects... I built a cube shelf, assembled the glider, hung up book slings after help measure and cut them so my mom could sew them, etc... But the craving to clean like crazy? Yeah, no.
@LaBellaVida that is so exciting you will have a babay this week for sure!! I got my membranes swept for the first time today, 1 cm dilated and 75% effaced. Trying not to get too excited though, I know it could mean nothing. Maybe just maybe I will get to join you in the outside baby club sooner than later!

The only reason I've been cleaning is that we have someone coming over tomorrow. Tbh I don't mind cleaning, its the picking up the toys to get to the area to clean that kills me, I have so much trouble getting up and down from the floor.
Its also tough because I feel like ds follows dh and I around and undoes anything we've straightened up, I swear we both put the books away multiple times, and yet there are still books on the floor!

I have come to the conclusion I am going to be one of those who don't get nesting and just stay exhausted till she decides to come lol I sleep terrible at night and after being awake for an hour in ready for a nap. Haha but can't because I gotta entertain my toddler (: haha

Wishing I had the energy to nest too. I have a list in my head but can't bring myself to do it. I figure I must not be close enough to labor if it hasn't kicked in, but good to hear others are feeling the same way.
