formula question

I currently and xclusively pump I ng for the girls but will soon have to supplement with formula because I am going back to work. Just figuring our budget, I was looking at up and up brand which comes in a 40 oz can. This may be a stupid question but how many oz does that powder make? I couldn't find the instructions for mixing the formula online.
TTC 2 years- Me and DH (28) with (severely) low sperm count- less than 40 total (last 2 SA showed only 5 and 6 sperm each)
IVF #1: ER 1/23/13- 4 eggs retrieved, 3 eggs fertilized; ET with 1 embryo 1/28/13 2 frosties beta #1 2/5 was 4.8- beta #2 2/7 3.5; BFN
FET #1- transferred one beautiful 4AA embie. Praying this is my take home baby. Beta 5/7/13- BFFN!!!
IVF #2: ER 7/17/13: 6R/3F- transferred 1 blast and 1 10 cell embryo 5dt.   Beta hell.  #1 2.5, #2 2.2- BFFFN! REALLY?
IVF #3: ER 12/1 and only 2 retrieved.  1 fertilized with ICSI.  Was planning on transferring one fresh and one frozen....fresh was only 14 cells at day 5...CANCELLED and devastated due to 5cm blood filled cyst in ovary and blood in uterus.
IVF #4: Antagonist protocol with endometrial scratch day one of stims.  ER 4/21: 6R/4M/3F- transferred 2 beautiful blasts (5dt) and one was hatching!  No frosties but hoping we won't need it!  Beta 5/4/14- 444(8dp5dt), Beta #2 10dp5dt 1002!  THIS HAS GOT TO BE IT!!!!!!!!!!  First US 5/15 we saw two of the most beautiful gestational and yolk sacs I have ever seen!  
****FINALLY PREGNANT WITH DI/DI TWINS!!!!!!!  

BRINLEY AND RILEY LONG.  Born November 20, 2014 at 32 wks 3 days.  4lbs7oz and 4lbs5oz.  1 month NICU time for "B's" and growing and feeding.  Now healthy, thriving, beautiful little girls!

    It's one scoop of formula to two ounces of water. Is that what your asking?

    TTC for 1.5 years with a crappy RE. 12 cycles with clomid (11 too many)
    New RE, 3 failed IUI's moving to IVF with ICSI

    The outside of the container directions should list how many fluid ounces the powdered ounces will make.

    Hmmm. I can go try to figure this out in a bit. I buy Similac in the 1.4lb size and it lasts me about 2.5 days exclusively ff both girls. They hit a peak with formula consumption at 6 mo and are actually now a bit less with solids added in. You may not end up spending the same each month.

    Ok my container says it makes 28 six ounce bottles. A scoop = 8.3 g of powder. There are 638 g of powder in my container so 638/8.3 = 77 scoops. The scoops are supposed to be "unpacked". Maybe I "pack" too much. Lol. I feel like I actually get closer to 18-20 bottles. Hope that helps some :)

    I used the Up & Up brand with a Baby Brezza formula pro and did the Auto Ship option to save money. I would go through about 16 large Up and Ups a month. So the monthly autoship plus I would have to buy an extra 12 pack case every few months to make up the difference. 

    Not sure that helps since you will be supplementing and we went from EBF to EFF.

    5/17/13 BFP!!! 6/6/13 - OMG its TWINS!

    Josie and Lexie were born on January 4, 2014 at 37w2d
    Josie was 5lbs2oz, Lexie was 4lbs15oz 
    Both had a 9 APGAR score with no NICU time
    Planned unscheduled C-Section due to both being breech
    We all went home on Jan 6th, 2 days after surgery

    My container of 1.41lb (638 grams) similac says it makes 169 fluid ounces. Each baby is drinking about 24 ounces per day at 2 mos so 48 ounces/ day. The tub lasts me 3.5 days. Basically 2 tubs at week and each is 27.49 (lowest price I found)= $53/ week exclusively FF.

    40 ounces is 2.5 lbs.

    TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
