Babies on the Brain

Beautiful weather = babies everywhere

So yesterday the weather was beautiful so DH and I went to the Dallas Arboretum to get out into the sun.  It was literally like an adorable-little-kid-happy-family-day. There were the cutest little babies, and toddlers, families picnicking and large groups of friends or cousins playing hide-n-go-seek. It was like being surrounded by all the things that make having a family worthwhile. Has anyone else been attacked by mobs of happy families recently?

  • Yes. Everytime I leave the house and go to a family friendly place.

  • Yes. At home, at dinner, at the store. These damn babies follow me everywhere

You find happy kids at home? Mine is usually annoyed and cranky.

  • My thinking... where-ever I think would be a good place to take my LO... It's probably the same thought the other general population has too...

  • No, but living in the Midwest, we'll be attacked by them 9 months from now. What do you do when it's negative temps and stuck inside? Procreate, of course!

Yeah, my monsters are pretty happy. Especially when there's food around.

  • What? It's true. The winter temps and heaps of snow drives everyone inside, and there's always a baby boom 9 months later.

I live in the midwest too.. and even though it gets cold, we don't hibernate like bears and never see the outside.

    Now, Valentine's day and 9 months later a baby...that's a different story

  • I'm in Canada so it's yucky winter weather here but so many of my friends are pregnant, makes me want to be pregnany again :( I have a son who is almost a year old. Hubby and I are wanting to try for baby number 2 but I think it might be just a bit too soon!
