I know this is a touchy subject so I don't want to start a debate, but I've been doing some last minute research and thought I'd just see what some of y'all's opinion's are. Sorry this is a repeat of several other posts, but no one really talked about what I'm asking (I went back and reread them) Please remember to play nice and respect other people's choices, at least on here. LO has her 2 month appointment tomorrow and I keep going back and forth on what shots she should get now. I know what's recommended and I've read so much research on all of it that my head is spinning. I'm leaning towards a more extended plan for shots. Meaning she won't get them all at once tomorrow, but she will get them just more drawn out. Has anyone else done something similar? I know I want her to get the DTaP tomorrow but other than that I'm still deciding. :-(
Re: Vaccinations
We planned it so that Pips was just getting hungry when the nurse gave her the shots and oral vaccine. 15 seconds of crying, bottle in mouth, happy baby again. She got a full tummy and slept for about 5 hours. When she woke up, the only thing she had was some swelling and pain where the shots were given. Mostly where she had the DTaP, and really who isn't in pain after that one, I know my arm ached for days. Anyway, we gave her some tylonal and she rested that afternoon and was fine by evening.
All in all I am glad we did it all at once, but if you think it would be better for your little one to space them out then definately talk to your ped. They will probably have insight into both arguments and then use your best judgment. No one knows your LO better than you.
thank you @chmwilliams for sticking up for @IndianaMommy08
ETA: I also find it rude to try and dictate how others should respond. If you ask a question, you should be ready for everyone's opinion. Not just the ones you deem worthy.

LO got all the recommended shots. They combined them into only 2 shots and he only fussed for a few seconds. I'd rather just get then over with and not have to return for 2 months. He never had a fever after and was fussy for less than a day following.
I was all ready to post about why we postponed LO's hepatitis shot (b/c she wasn't a full month yet at the appt and the doc didn't want to add it to the two month appt and she isn't at risk for it right now anyway)...but then I saw this. Grow up. If you can't handle the helpful, if not the most tactfully phrased, responses above, how can you possibly handle the real world?
This forum isn’t the right place to post about controversial shit. You might want to find another forum for that.
Recently IRL a mom I saw did something that I really didn't agree with. She didn't vaccinate her child which caused a measles outbreak at Disneyland. How would you have reacted to your child getting measles because you waited too long to vaccinate?
@anlicsceadu, I think your comments and actions are rude and inappropriate. You’re being unfair.
Thanks, TB gods for helping me respond to this ridiculousness.

ETA - I committed the worst crime and posted without reading. Sorry ladies. OP. I doubt you have been lurking since the beginning or you would know our stance on this as well as how your question would be received. If you can't handle how very nicely the ladies were to you here, then yes, you should probably go elsewhere.
OMG... I fudging love you!
