For the purposes of this check in we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated. Please feel free to suggest questions for future check-ins!

1. How old is your LO?
2. How many times a day does your LO breastfeed?
3. Are you dealing with any new BFing challenges?
4. Is there an age you know you wouldn't BF past?

5. What's your favorite indoor activity to keep your toddler busy when the weather is bad?

1. How old is your LO? 29 months
2. How many times a day does your LO breastfeed? 2, but DS has been doing a really short evening session- like, a couple of sucks on each side, then "All done."
3. Are you dealing with any new BFing challenges? Not new, but still dealing with pregnant/BFing issues.
4. Is there an age you know you wouldn't BF past? I think I'd feel a little funny about nursing a Kindergarten-age child. But I wouldn't totally rule it out- certainly by that age I would be trying really hard to wean, though.

Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? Supply has been decreasing. Having more pain at latch-on and general soreness, but it's bearable. Nursing aversion is better. The super-short evening session is okay with me. No questions for this week.

Non BF-ing question of the week:
5. What's your favorite indoor activity to keep your toddler busy when the weather is bad? I love to do arts and crafts with DS- painting with finger paints or water colors, Play-Doh, stamping. Now that DS is a little older, I'd like to try tearing/gluing strips of paper and some simple printmaking techniques.

2. How many times a day does your LO breastfeed? 2 times. Nap/Bedtime.

3. Are you dealing with any new BFing challenges? I'm over it. I'm ready to wean.

4. Is there an age you know you wouldn't BF past? 2. Lol. But if I don't have her weaned soon I plan to by the time she is 2 1/2 years.

1. How old is your LO? 18 months
2. How many times a day does your LO breastfeed? 2x, wakeup and bedtime
3. Are you dealing with any new BFing challenges? Sessions are getting shorter. I'm flirting with weaning but it makes me so sad!
4. Is there an age you know you wouldn't BF past? Probably 2 because we'll be TTGP and I personally don't want to nurse while pregnant. Would like a break in between.

Indoor playgrounds and, when all else fails … Elmo!

3. Are you dealing with any new BFing challenges? Not so much challenges, but it's definitely losing it's luster for me.  I know it's going to be hard to wean though, because she's still so into it.
4. Is there an age you know you wouldn't BF past? Hmmm...I'm not sure.  I didn't think I'd be doing it this long, so it's hard to say.  I don't want to breastfeed while pregnant or rather I would like a break, so that may be the real stopping point rather than an age.

Non BF-ing question of the week:
5. What's your favorite indoor activity to keep your toddler busy when the weather is bad?  Either going to an indoor playground or art projects/puzzles. 

As a side note, I'm bummed everyone is leaving.

RE: everyone leaving, sorry to be a little dense but I'm not reading the boards as much these days. Can anyone give me the Cliff Notes on the mass exodus? I've read some posts about it but am still a little confused. (Mommy brain?) Dumb it down for me?

1. How old is your LO? 27 months
2. How many times a day does your LO breastfeed? He recently cut back again to 2–3 times in 24 hours. I'm not complaining! :-)
3. Are you dealing with any new BFing challenges? No.
4. Is there an age you know you wouldn't BF past? 18 LOL. The joke in our house it that I'll have to go to college with him so he can nurse before bed. I'm letting him self wean. I hope he's done by 3.

5. What's your favorite indoor activity to keep your toddler busy when the weather is bad? Reading, playing with his Batman toys, going to the library or mall to get some social interaction with other kids playing.

1. How old is your LO? 12 months, 2 weeks happy to have made it this long and get to post here!
2. How many times a day does your LO breastfeed? 4-5 times during the day, and still 3-5 times at night.
3. Are you dealing with any new BFing challenges? Nothing new, just hoping she will night wean hersf, but not looking that way...
4. Is there an age you know you wouldn't BF past? No. I would like to go to 2 at least, and hope that she self wean by 3.
