So I got "that" call from my OB (and the actual OB, not a nurse

) - my 2nd trimester blood tests came back and I'm at an increased risk for a neural tube disorder (1/160). I have my A/S tomorrow as scheduled, but she recommended that I see a MFM at a local hospital for another sonogram as soon as I am able to get an appointment. I understand that my risk is still less than 1%, but just not the news I expected to hear, especially as I am already HR because of an incompetent cervix. I have read that there are many false positives; just looking to hear some experiences with this. My DD's pregnancy was a dream and we were hoping that this one would be just a smooth.
