Meltdown Monday

My meltdown and DS's are the same - he has the flu. He didn't eat much yesterday but was ok, but woke up at 12:30AM after throwing up all over his bed. He had a fever of 101.8. We cleaned him, cleaned the bed and put him back down around 1:45 and he slept until 6:15. Not terrible. He didn't eat much of anything all day but he drank juice and took Tylenol for his 102 fever. He went down for a nap and woke up with a fever of 104! He was really lethargic but whining and moving so I called the doctor and they said motrin for now as long as he's drinking and responsive. I had just given him Tylenol but after about an hour he was willing to eat a popsicle, and then ate half a packet and his fever was down to 102. So the meltdown is him being sick again - but hopefully he is getting better now.

DD meltdown was this morning because I had to brush her hair, then brush her teeth, then put her coat on.  Yeah, pretty much over anything that I had to do to her.

My meltdown was at 3:30 this morning. I walked to my bathroom half asleep only to step on dog piss and poop since my pre-madona of a dog did not want walk because of the rain. Being 34 weeks pregnant, sleepy, and needing to pee I pretty much lost it. My poor husband had to come and clean it up.

My meltdown, well not really a meltdown, is that dd turned 2 today! I can't believe it!

My real meltdown is that ds still has a cold and is congested. He was up every 2 hours last night. Poor kiddo having a hard time breathing through his nose and gagging on mucous.

dh just had a SUPER BIG meltdown today

my meltdown is he got to stay home and i had to go to work, but i take that back...

he had planned on going to the movies, but then his sister called him asking him to drive her somewhere...sil and bil were over yesterday and dh made the mistake of saying he didn't have to work today....sil has anxiety problems and depends on us for things now and again....so she called him today asking him to come pick her up (like half hour away) drive her to their aunt's house (half hour back up north) and then take her home again....this is a drive she's made alone before....and we're both pretty sure she got herself worked up only bc she knew dh was home

so on the way home from dropping her off, he was stuck in traffic....so he missed the movie he wanted to go see....and when he got to the closest movie theater there was no parking (it's the largest mall in the area, it's always busy, but on a holiday day...forget about it) and then he got a bloody nose

i do feel a little badly for him bc whever he has a soph free day off, something always seems to happen....but i also don't feel that badly bc he misplaced his anger at me (apologized later)

his sister annoys the crap out of him so much...he totally regrets mentioning that he had today off....next time he'll keep his mouth shut

sil is great with dd...but man, she is too much...has to question everything...doesn't understand why we like to go to the movies so much and see more than one....has to control everything....i'm sure she's disappointed she had no say whatsoever in what colors we painted the house....

and now he's expecting her to have a meltdown in the car when he picks her up bc- she's in the car seat, she's wearing a jacket, she's wearing shoes, she can't watch yee haw, she can't watch 7d, she doesn't want her milk, she wants mommy, etc....take your pick

@ambmama‌ no fun when they have fevers. When DD runs a fever she runs a really high one (like 104). Tylenol would never bring it down super low, we always had to use Motrin. Ask your doc too, as you can alternate the two like every 2 or 4 hours (can't remember which one).

My meltdown is DD is 2, enough said.
She has a meltdown about everything.

DS's meltdown on Sunday came when he was told he couldn't go down to the basement when he asked, and then about an hour later when we said we were going downstairs he had an even bigger meltdown because he didn't want to go....
