If you don’t see your name below, it just means that we missed you last check-in. No worries, just give us an update.
CallaLily30 - Is everyone settled in in VA? How’s the diet going? Feb 1st is so close I can see it!
purplehaze11 - ((HUGS)) on CD1. How’s everything else going?
megrae12 – Have your classes started yet? How’s the savings plan going? I hope your mom is starting to feel better. Has her pain started to subside?
*********************************************************************
UPDATE: Update us on appointments, cycle days, struggles, successes, non-TTCAL news and everything else in between.
*********************************************************************
QOTW: How do you think we should move forward within the context of this thread? Do we want to keep the check-in as it is? Eliminate it entirely? As much as I wish this wasn’t the reality that any of us were facing, very likely we will soon meet new ladies joining us from S15. Should we direct them toward the newbie check-in or do we want to rebuild?

Re: *~September Sapphires Check-In~* (Jan 19th) (BFP Warning)
Hi ladies! I'm all settled in VA with DH and our puppy and it's so nice to be all together. We are still traveling back to NJ more than we'd like for the transfer. I attempted to go to an RE here for local monitoring and it didn't work out so well. After my first monitoring there, they decided that I would have to be a "pay up front" patient. My normal clinic charges my insurance. The difference is $385/ monitoring session which I just can't afford. So after much stress, my RE decided since it's a FET we can do monitoring on the weekends which means lots of driving between NJ and VA but it's saving a lot of money so it's worth it.
The diet is a challenge but I'm making it work. It's a lot healthier which is great but leaves me with a lot less options since I'm a picky eater.
QOTW: I like our small little group because it's much easier to keep up with the ladies here. However, maybe new ladies can gain something from our experience. I'm ok either way but I would miss you ladies if we eliminate it!

@CallaLily30 I'm glad that your NJ RE is willing to work with you still. Fx for everything to go smoothly with all the travel for monitoring. Do you have a transfer date?
Hey ladies. I hope you don't mind me coming back to this check in even though my recent loss was a June edd. This was my check in before that.
There's not a whole ton going on right now, just waiting. My OB & RE want me to get a transabdominal cerclage done before another pregnancy. So right now I'm on bcps & waiting for my Feb 9th phone consult with Dr Haney in Chicago to discuss going there for it. I know he's really busy, but I'm holding out hope that we can get surgery scheduled before the end of March/early April.
Other than that, today is a sucky day. It's 2 weeks since we said goodbye & we're heading to the funeral home in a little bit to pick up his ashes. I'm just in disbelief that that we're doing all of this all over.
QOTW: I'm still not sure if I'm going to move 100% to the board that shall not be named or not. But, I'd definitely like to see this check in continue.
Seeing AF was pretty shitty. I know my OB is banking on the fact that I've historically gotten BFPs quickly to try and get pregnant before the fibroid regrows. But, it's another cycle. My DH is planning his work travel around my ovulation, so at least we have a shot this cycle.
