Those Annoying/WTF/Really??? Pregnancy Comments

My manager (who is a male) has made several off the wall comments throughout my pregnancy. When I was around 13 weeks and had started to tell coworkers that I was expecting, he told me I should really wait until 16 weeks because I "wasn't in the clear yet." A few weeks ago, I had mentioned to my immediate supervisor they were going to monitor me for preeclampsia because my BP was a little elevated and I had protein in my urine...he asked me if I had been tested for gestational diabetes yet, and when I said no he goes "I bet you're going to have a problem with that, too." I took offense to this...I lost over 100lbs before I got pregnant and even when I was heavier, I never had diabetes or any severe health problems like that.l, nor does it run in my family...but not that he would know that. (For the record: my BP is normal now thank goodness!)

My bf and I are not married, but plan to be eventually...we are in no rush. I am so sick of people asking me "is he going to stick around?" Or "are you guys going to do the right thing and get married?" Excuse me, but it is 2015 and I am 26 years old, not 15. Just because we aren't married doesn't mean we aren't going to raise this child properly...and I am definitely going to teach my son to not be judgemental like these assholes!

@seamama525 I don't think people realize how rude that is! Do NOT compare pregnant ladies' appearances!! We are all different! I have a co-worker who is due exactly 4 weeks before me, but she isn't as apparently huge as I am, as many people just LOVE to point out. (she is very tall, and I am very short)

"She's due BEFORE you?!!?!?! But you're so much bigger!!" Yeah. Thanks...

@sjd06e‌ I have the same problems with the getting married question! I'll be 20 Feb. 9 and my boyfriend is 23, not married but we are in the process of buying a home. We live in just about the smack dab center of the Bible Belt so I get the question "When are you getting married?" ALOT. One day I just lost it on a guy at work. He said "so when you getting married?" I said " I don't know but you know what I AM getting?" "What's that?" I said "Real damn tired of being asked that question!"

I am so annoyed with every person asking me "are you excited??" Today I finally got sarcastic with someone.. "No I'm not excited at all, actually didn't want the darn thing in the first place. You want it?" I mean even if realistically I wasn't excited, would I tell a stranger my true feelings? Of course we are excited and beyond blessed.

A girl at work asked me if I got married because of the baby. How freaking rude.

DH and I got married in October. We had the wedding planned for a year, engaged for 2 years, together over 4 years. So no. I wanted to slap her.

My family members ask if I have to work 12 hour shifts because I "really need to be resting". I'm a nurse, so no mom, I can't just leave my patients whenever I feel like it. I also only work 3 days a week. I think I'll live.

Also sick of being asked how I am feeling every 5 minutes. My new response is "I'm tired" ..then I look away.

I'm so tired of people telling me "oh it just looks like you ate a big breakfast." I'm proud of my finally showing baby bump so if you don't have anything nice to say then f off!!

Exactly this! I happened to mention to a friend that I find it weird when complete strangers comment on me being pregnant.
Her response was yeah it just looks like you have had a REALLY big Christmas. Now at 24w her and another friend keep saying I still don't think you look pregnant... There is a definite bump and its really start to piss me off! I'm even responding now with 'great so you just think I look fat' and they still haven't taken a hint.
