Weekend Plans

Anyone doing exciting this weekend? Its actually going to be above 50 degrees here today so I think I'm going to take the kids to the park this afternoon and enjoy it before it goes back to being below freezing again. DH's Christmas party is tomorrow night and we have a babysitter. It will be a bunch of small talk with people I don't really know but I won't have to worry about taking care of the kids for a few hours and there is an open bar Happy Friday everyone!

We are going to Gatlinburg, Tennessee this weekend. I've never been before, but H has. We are leaving the baby behind though and I know it's going to tear my nerves up. We've only have left him for one night before. We'll be gone 4 days, 3 nights. I know it's not much, but still. H feels horrible about it because he worked late last night and got home literally when I was giving him a bath to go to bed and H was super upset he couldn't love on him, since he was gross from work.

I love zip lining, not sure about the group we're going with, but it's worth a shot to bring up! I'm an adrenaline junkie!

All day Sat. was supposed to be Mommy's Day Out, facial - massage - haircut - then out with my friends to drink it up at night.  Unfotunatly DH's co-worker has flu and has been out all week long so DH has to work over time on Sat.  I had to cancel my pampering appointments

We have NOTHING planned and it's glorious.

I'm sure we will end up doing something but for the first time in 2 months we are not sick and no plans!

I'm fighting a cold and DH is going on a business trip next week while ILs come to help me out with the kids. So I'm hoping for a chill weekend but really looking forward to a week from Friday when hopefully DH will be getting home and I will have survived him being gone.

We go every year and it's great. Lots of yummy places to eat! JT Hannah's, The Old Mill and The Apple Barn are my favorites in Pigeon Forge. And if you want the most AMAZING donuts ever, check out the Donut Friar in The Village on the Gatlinburg strip.

Our friends mentioned going to the Apple Barn for sure!

Having some drinks and watching our fave show tonight and tomorrow are LOs swim lessons and a 90 minute hot stone massage for me!! Trying to find a fun family outing Monday when we have off!

@Pink021‌ We are grilling out too with our 30 degree heat wave! I will also be bundling up the babe and going for a walk if it's not windy. We need fresh air!

Other than that, taking LO to see my grandma and a whole lot of relaxing.

DH and I are finally in our new house, so our plans are to work on putting stuff away and spending a bunch of money. New appliances, computer desk, halltree, etc. It's an expensive weekend

We were supposed to go to our niece's birthday party, but we all have colds. So other than yoga and a Costco run, I think it will be a pretty quiet weekend.

Today is going to be a quiet day...errands to run, etc. But tomorrow we are going to Sanibel Island. DH has a meeting for work near there on Monday morning so we are using it as an excuse for a little getaway. LO loves to be outside so I can't wait to show him the beach!
