I started my 1st IVF cycle a couple weeks ago and had my ER yesterday. They got 14 eggs, as of now 10 have fertilized. I have questions regarding the recovery from the ER procedure. I'm not even really having cramping or ovarian pain but I'm having a lot of bloating/gas discomfort under my diaghram. Is this normal? and what can I do to help with the discomfort? It's only been about 36 hours since the procedure and I know I probably shouldn't have gone back to work, but I did (I'm a nurse and work night shift).
8 failed IUI, (1 chemical pregnancy, 1 MC)

Oh the bloating...why don't they warn you about that? I actually called my nurse after hours last night because I really thought something was wrong with me (I look 5 months pregnant). I was told it's totally normal and only to worry if you start experiencing shortness of breath, a lot of pain, or pain when urinating.
I haven't really found anything that helps aside from a TON of water. I've also given up on wearing normal pants and live only in yoga pants or leggings (even at work - I've been getting some interesting looks). I have been taking colace regularly and miralax when needed as extreme constipation was another lovely side effect I had.
Me (30): Blocked fallopian tube, mild Hypothyroidism
DH (31): Low motility and morphology<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
