So yesterday was pretty rocky when neither baby napped.
But. DH texted me last night at work and told me that he got a $4.30/hr RAISE! Talk about the most awesome gifts ever. I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders. 
I am so excited for him. And us. We were getting by before, but just barely--and any time my editing work lagged a bit, we were really hurting. This raise, effectively doubles my previously added income, so now any editing I get is just gravy. I am so happy.
It was such a surprise, I actually asked if this was a mistake. But it isn't. The company has been talking about implementing a different pay scale structure for DH's position (He is a higher level employee who was making crap). They just implemented the new pay.
