I am in shock. It took us some 12 years to get pregnant with our LO. We have been trying this time since June 2014.
I didn't temp this month but used CB ovulation sticks, so I think I am 9dpo. But based on ovulation sticks I didn't ovulate until CD26. The hpt is a strong positive.
I got 8 days straight of strong positive ovulation tests before I gave in and took a hpt this morning. It was an expired test so I will take another tomorrow to be sure. I used an expired test with LO too and I was told I was far more likely to get a false negative then a false positive.
It's so early, but I am excited!
Since this will be our last, I hope not to find myself back here. I haven't been a member long, but I didn't just want to disappear either. I wish you all the best and hope to see some of you on the September board!

@dandkbaker I really have no idea if that was normal as it was my first month using OPKs and I hadn't started temping.
Prior to LO I was seriously irregular, sometimes only having 2 periods a year. Since weaning LO I have had a period every month with each cycle being about 2 days shorter then the last. My last cycle was 28 days.
I'm not sure if I really ovulated that late or if the OPKs are just not accurate for me? My HPT was a dark positive line and I expected a faint line if anything based on 9dpo.
