Here are mine. I got married in a plain band for religious reasons. The other ring with the five small diamonds is from my mom— my dad gave it to her on their 10th wedding anniversary and she told me she wanted me to have it

I love this post! My engagement ring is pretty special - custom designed by my husband and the main stone and two of the smaller ones are from his great grandmothers fiftieth anniversary ring! Poor guy, I gave him hell every time someone got engaged; meanwhile, he was designing something for me! (The photo doesn't really show how the middle metal is matte white gold)

@Nikolie93- Thanks! My mom said she wanted to give me the ring so that she could enjoy looking at in on my finger while she's still alive (nice, but also slightly morbid, haha). I love that photo of your rings! So beautiful.

This is the only picture I have of ours. After 2.5 years of marriage he told me last week his ring is cracked all the way through... Now trying to find him a new ring that's made from a stronger metal...

@firefly143 sorry to hear about H's ring.  That sucks!

@km380 your band is similar to the one I want for our 5 year anniversary.  The one that matches my engagement ring is too boxy for my fingers.  They make one that is a 3/4 round pave style that I like. I can only wear a plain band for work though so I suppose it doesn't really matter.

I am personally not a fan of diamond solitaires, although all here are beauties! So, my husband had this designed for me. Aquamarine which is also my favorite color.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these!!! Of course I can't find those "artsy" ring pics from our wedding, but here are a couple I had on my phone. My engagement ring is white gold (from the store) but my wedding band is yellow gold. It was my grandmother's ring. She passed away the summer before our wedding, so it was so special and meant alot to me to be married with the same ring she wore. She and my grandfather were married 52 years & gave me 6 aunts and uncles! He was the only man she had ever "been with". I'm hoping it brings me luck!

Here's another shot of mine!  Because of course I wanted to include a picture from the day I got it and my finger started to swell and then it was cut off my finger.

Here's mine! All of the small diamonds in the engagement ring and band are from my moms wedding and anniversary rings with my dad. She wanted me to have the diamonds so she gave them to DH to use and he did a great job if I do say so myself!

(Also playing around with the macro lens attachment for my iPhone)

All these rings are gorgeous and some are so unique, never mind the stories behind them!  

I, too, am excited to share the artistic ring pic from our wedding day. The other image is how the ring was given to me: inside one of my fave pieces of chocolate, a Godiva Open Oyster!
