I was always an everday kind of girl. But I have to be honest, with the discovery of the dry shampoo the PTA baths are becoming more frequent on busy mornings. But if that happens then I have to take a shower when I get home, I can't seem to go more than 36 hrs.

Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!
Hair gets washed every other day. I shower every day or every other. I never go with more than one day in between, and I go in phases. Right now, at 38+ weeks pregnant, I feel so yucky that I'm more in an every day trend.
I'm starting to figure out that if I shower at night that I can sleep a few extra minutes in the morning
Granted, I'm rocking the bedhead look this morning. For the record, I do enjoy a good shower, I just enjoy sleep more.

I'm pretty much every-other-day, but occasionally will go longer, if I'm not leaving the house for whatever reason. In the summer it is closer to every day, because it is hot as balls here and I sweat a lot. When I'm working out a lot I will also shower more often.
Every evening. I LOVE hot showers and wish that I could spend hours in one....but then I hear a screaming baby or a toddler is trying to come in and take one with me.
I also like to pick imaginary fights with people in my head while taking a shower. Hello unresolved resentments?!?
Huh. I like to blast the radio and pretend I'm performing to thousands of fans. (can't carry a tune in a bucket but sound pretty darn good with shower acoustics)
Or if it's a Sunday I'll say some prayers, don't like to actually pray in church in case I get teary eyed.

I follow Buzzfeed and even though I shower every day, I only soap up the 'essential' areas. My skin gets so itchy and dry if I totally lather up. Hair is limp, so I wash that every day.
If being a math nerd is wrong, I don't wanna be right!
I also think that those of you who live a milder climate, don't quite get what havoc the winter weather wreaks on your skin.
Hot water dries you out enough and then the freezing temps are essentially exfoliating your skin constantly AND add in the dry air from the heat being on all day. It's a recipe for disaster. Plus it's actually painful.
But of course I change my undergarments everyday, as well as wash the essential areas.
I generally shower every day, but I do skip some days occasionally. I really need to stop washing my hair everyday because it gets greasy so fucking fast.
I hear you on that. My hair is normally greasy by the end of the second day, but the longer I go, the less greasy it is.

God, you're so defensive.
I probably should just move to a warmer climate.
Ohio? You should start a thread asking for recommendations on warmer cities...
When I am working I shower/wash hair daily. It gets me going in the morning!
While on mat leave, it's more like every other day and hair washing maybe 3x per week.
It's not so much an issue of time as it is peace and quiet. My nap hating baby loses his shit when I attempt to take five minutes for a shower. If I want a relaxing shower I do it before I go to bed once the kids are asleep.
I should wash my hair less frequently. How long does it take to get over the greasy adjustment?
My hair had always gotten greasy if I skipped a washing but I found that the dry shampoo seriously helps prevent the greasiness, plus adds volume so it doesn't look flat. I just use the suave kind but I'm sure there are better ones out there. I also make sure only to comb/brush the ends on day 2 so I'm not spreading the oil - that sounds so gross. Sometimes i hit the roots with the cool setting on the hair dryer too.

There's something about the soap holding the dirt so it's not as dirty as you thing. The lipids or something. I'm sure the tub ring speaks differently.
My shower habits are not static. Winter in Canada: every otherish day, wash hair every 2nd shower. Summer is more or less depending on how often and long I'm in the lake.
Special occasion washes as needed.
But I wash my skin down less often now then when I was in my 20s.
promised myself I'd retire when I turned gold, and yet here I am

Eta: this was in a science class.
I too will sit. Scooch over.
Seriously, this isn't that big of a deal.
