are you planning on bfing?? if so, that weight will melt off faster than lightning!
?
I have to say I saw the opposite. ?I hung on to an extra 10 lbs for the first 3.5 months I was bfing. ?As soon as I stopped the weight came right off. ?
?I also gained a lot of weight with my first pregnancy. ?A lot more than I needed to anyway. ?It took 6 months but I managed to lose it all.?

agreed.
I'm a bubble buster here too...darn!...my weight never came off and my OB and Endocrinologist said that my body wouldn't let go of the last 8-10lbs of pregnancy weight until I weaned. To this day that extra 8 lbs is still here...ack! We're working on weaning so hopefully it will be gone soon! I hope that you don't have the same trouble I've had...it stinks!
well, in the end i think i did hold some extra weight (this was at 16 mos when i weaned) but i also gained 65, so the 8-10 at the end was the least of my problems. with nursing, i lost 20 lbs pretty quickly and then it took a long time to get the rest off... in fact, i never lost it all and started this pregnancy 20 lbs heavier than i was last time. i certainly can't blame nursing for any of that.
