Pimp Your Mascara

I need new mascara. It must: 

- Make me look rested (I am not)

- Make my blonde eyelashes look dark, long and full (they are not) 

- Not rub off on everyfuckingthing

- Come off easily with makeup remover

Bonus points if it makes me look like I'm in my twenties again (although that might just require botox and a martini).

Maybelline Falsies in blackest black (I have blonde eyelashes).

Not sure it will do much for looking well rested though-- I wear about a pound of concealer under each eye.

I wear maybelline falsies too as an alternative to the crazy expensive mascara. It's my favorite brush out there and lasts a good while.

I always do one coat, let it dry, and then a second coat. Makes my lashes look super long.

I wear Covergirl Lashblast. The orange tube that is NOT WATERPROOF. It does all of those things for me.

I find that if I heat my eyelash curler a bit with my hairdryer before curling, it really helps! Throw some mascara on and they stay curled all day! Totally opens my eyes up so I don't look quite as exhausted as I actually am

I do this too. About 5 secs or so, and make sure it's not too hot.

I've yet to find a primer I like. Granted I've only tried cheaper brands, but I've found a light dusting of translucent powder does a pretty good job for me. All the ones I've tried clump up and the mascara doesn't completely cover it up.

I alternate between Smashbox primer and DiorShow primer. It's worth the investment. It makes such a difference.

Can you test mascara and primer at sephora?
