Time frame for brushing?

DD1 just started OT for SPD on Tuesday, and we've been brushing every hour and a half since Wednesday. I was just wondering how long we will need to brush that frequently and how/if it tapers. I didn't get to ask the OT when we saw her on Thursday. FWIW, we were able to see a difference by the end of the first day.

When the OT recommended it for DS, it was every 2 hours plus joint compression and then we would see how it goes after a couple of weeks to see if he needed it less frequently. We didn't keep up with it for that long. The impression I got was that it wouldn't be completely stopped for a long time.
