  • DD 1 (3 1/2) cried today because I let her sister cry for literally 30 seconds in the crib. She told me I was a mean mommy. LOL

DD2 (6m) cried because I said "zip" while zipping my coat. Scared her perhaps?

  • DS1 cried because after he refused to put gloves on this morning, he walked out and saw snow. He needed his gloves on immediately so that he could touch the snow.

DS2 cried because I moved the coffee table out of the way so he can roll around all over. However he only wants to roll and play underneath the coffee table.

I don't have anything personal to add but I did get a laugh out of what one Dad said:
"My son cried because he couldn't lose his shadow."

My DS did this too! Up until around 4 months. I have seasonal allergies, so it was a traumatic time for him, haha!

  • DS cries when he has a dirty diaper. Then he cries when you lay him down to change the dirty diaper.

  • DS (2) cries when I answer a question correctly. Example: he points to mommy or daddy on a thing my MIL painted and he says "Mommy?" I answer "yes, that's mommy." And he cries.
DD cries I'd she sees me in the room and I'm not holding her. She's completely fine if she doesn't know I'm there, but as soon as she finds me, it's tears.
  • DD mainly only cries if she gets tired, but she's tired because she won't fall asleep and wants to stay awake. It's a lovely cycle.

  • DS (2 years) will close doors behind himself and then immediately cry that the door is closed and he can't open it and get out.
