I'm proud of myself...we are trying to live within the budget we would need to keep if I SAH next year. Last week I got everything in bulk, so I don't even need to cook this week- I just need to defrost! Plus I was $10 under budget. Hopefully everything still tastes ok;)
Um, we just did a Sams run today, and Panera soups were on sale, so I imagine I'll be eating those all week while primarily stuck in bed after surgery. This will be a low-key week! The girls have plenty of frozen eats I've pre-made ready to go...(Like tonight's turkey meatloaf. Even tho they ultimately just ate oyster crackers. Because they saw me bring them out for my soup. ::sigh:: )

It's so easy for me to be lazy since DH is vegan and I'm a damn trash can. I'll eat nearly anything, so if I want something that's not too painfully healthy I have to make it myself. This thread is great for inspiration! @inlovealready715 um Moroccan chicken recipe plz!?
Finally breaking in the baby crock pots DH got me sooooooo....
Tonight: breakfast for dinner FTW. Jimmy Dean Delights are pretty awesome and super easy. Tomorrow: Chicken Tikka Masala from the crock pot and basmati Tuesday: Desperately seeking a fancy vegan-friendly restaurant in Bham for our third wedding anniversary Wednesday: Probably something like a chocolate bar I found in my purse or some pop tarts from the vending machine. Long work day followed by late doc appt. Thursday: homemade mac and cheese!! Friday: leftovers and more leftovers

Well... if I'm lucky we'll only have macaroni and cheese with turkey hot dogs once this week.
Otherwise I'm looking at leftover rice and beans, mac and cheese, pasta with red sauce (from a jar, not homemade) and probably a night of scrambled eggs. I am the worlds okayest parent.
