As I sit in the car in front of my friends house. SO went in to watch the game. I can hear a cocktail calling my name but I want her to sleep a little so we don't have cranky pants
Eh for us it depends on the time of day we're talking about. If its during his naptime, I usually wait until after he wakes up from nap to leave the house (he usually naps 1-3ish or 2-4ish so I try To base our plans around that).
If its not naptime and he happens to fall asleep in the car, I wake him up and go in.
Depends on the age and the quality of sleep lately. When I've screwed up naptime recently, I'm extra careful. Also, my kids are pretty good about holding the cranky in when they're distracted. If yours is the same way and you think the party will entertain, I say head in!
