I got a sewing machine for Christmas. (And I'm a total newb).
My first project was a wet bag, and my second project was THIS!

I made it out of a thrift store sweater that I felted, and I didn't use a pattern. I just sort of traced around the fitted! 
And I'm really proud of myself

Sadly, it's possible that I made it a little too small. We will have to see in the morning.

Would anyone with a tiny kid be interested in this cover if I PIF'd it?
I'm sitting here staring at it, and I'm about 99% sure it's not going to fit my 5 month old.

It would probably fit a 1-3 month old wearing a fitted.

It'll probably fit a chunky newborn up to 3 months.
And it's definitely not perfect, but I made it with love!
