To be honest, when I first looked at it I read it as Naomi because of the beginning and ending sequence then after realizing the name wasn't Naomi I guessed NO-emmy, but I see I was wrong.
.....Genuinely curious, how are you getting that? There is no vowel combination in the first syllable that lends to the long "i". Is there a foreign language pronunciation I am missing on this one? I admit I am not familiar with the name.
This is just how i would see to pronounce it. But i looked on GOOGLE (because I see a lot of people who could get some good use out of that search engine) Anyways you can search name pronunciation and This name is pronounce No-emmy.
No-eh-mee. I say it in French though. I don't know if this is actually true but I always thought it was the French form of Naomi. We don't have a lot of Naomis here but we do have a lot of Noemis

Re: How do you pronounce Noemi?
Naomi is nice though...
All that being said, and on the topic of discussion, my niece's middle name is Japanese - Naomi and pronounced Now-me.
Behind the name says:
Noemi: Italian and Czech form of NAOMI (1)
Pronunciation: naw-E-mee (Italian)
Edited to add: I personally like Naomi better.
