  • It's possible that my baby ate poop this week.  He hadn't pooped for 6 days (we are now ff and bf), finally on the 7th day a little normal poop. The next day he has a massive poop. So massive I took a pic of it and sent it to MH.  I had to scrap poop into the toilet and then rinse it in the sink b/c there was no way I was putting it in the washer. I have never seen so much poop in my life. I almost threw up. Then he did it again later on that night. It got on his foot. He was grabbing his feet and then I noticed he had poop on his hand and was attempting to stick it in his mouth. Whether he stuck his hand in his mouth before that...well, who knows.

Also, I went back to work this week and it's freaking boring compared to my baby.  Even though this is only Day 2 of work, I'm not loving it.

  • I haven't showered in like 3 days.

I also am not telling my SO how much I'm spending on my cousin. He doesn't need to know what I spend my own money on. Besides, he doesn't know how much I got back from financial aide.

At the end of Nov, I went on vacation to FL and drove with 2 4 month old babies (bad idea)...well when I got back the month of hell began. MH fracture his foot the first day he was out of the country and on his way back got some sort of virus. So the first week I was taking care of him. Then I got hit with an illness. I literally thought I was dying. I had a fever for 3 days, up to 103. Went to the hospital and I had pnuemonia. It took me 3 weeks to feel normal again. Then my baby got a cold, then MH got a man cold. So it was a full month of illness. Oh then my daughter jumped off the couch and hurt her fooot the day before Christmas and we had to take her to get xrays. No fracture but it's still hurting her. So yeah, no bumping during that time.

I will worry about if my legs prickle DH when he takes care of the combo of sandpaper and razor sharp talons he calls feet. He keeps his nails so short, and they're still like knives.

ETA: I forgot to confess something. I use my paypal (etsy funds) to buy stuff so I don't have to tell DH how much things cost. Sometimes because I don't have to type card info. It's about 50/50.

  • I think I might be broken.  I held a newborn today and it didn't make me want to have All. The. Babies.  It made me remember how fragile they are and how anxious I felt when DS was a nb. Then we compared labor war stories and it brought back all the memories.  Ugh.  I really want another kid, but I'm dreading taking one for the team again.
  • Add me to the no shaving list. I shave only a couple times a year. DH couldn't care less.

My confession, my mom and sisters can't come down until tomorrow morning because of the weather. I am horribly glad because I don't need to give up the guest bed or change sheets.

FWIW, you know my 40 hour labor story, and then I had a five hour labor from when my water broke, with only two hours of actual labor and delivery (omg she's 7 weeks now, I really need to get my birth story written). Andplusalso, R is a supremely easy newborn, and while I feel tons of anxiety holding other people's newborns (in fact, I just kind of refuse to do it), I feel none of that with her. I feel so much less anxious in general than I was with A. /Anecdote

  • I left the boys with DH while I went 15 minutes down the road to meet a lady and sell some diapers. It went much faster than I knew DH would expect, so instead of coming straight home, I drove up to the top of a (small) mountain that overlooks the city. It was such a nice little break to turn the radio up and enjoy looking down at the city lights for a few minutes.

    This sounds lovely :)

I always get teary watching frozen. All the songs do it. And I don't even have pregnancy and hormones to use as an excuse for it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Being one and done is okay. I just give you a hard time about TTC.

And for leading the pact thread for how long now?

Really, that's the way to go. The grads thread is on it's like 4th leader now. At least.
LOL.  That's what I was going to say.  Isn't it better with less turnover? ;)
