We are having a hard time deciding on a name for our fourth girl. Our current favorites are Ansley and Lainey. Middle name will be Elizabeth.
Thoughts?
Sisters are Karstyn, Hadley and Aylah
There is a recent thread about Lainey - most posters agreed that it sounds like a NN for a toddler, but that it doesn't age well for a full name for an adult. Ansley (I prefer the spelling Ainsley myself) is ok, but I think you can do better.
Suggesting Eleni, Eleanor, Adrienne, Aisling, Delaney, Maren, Naomi.
^^ Agreed. I'm also not a fan of Ansley.
Suggesting Aubrey instead.

I was at dance the other day and this mom called for little "aze-ling" and of course I'm thinking "you know how I know you didn't google the pronunciation of Aisling before picking it?"

Elaine was on the very top of our baby name list for the sole reason that I love the nickname Laynie. So, I vote Elaine (or even Alayna, or something like that) and go with the nn of Laynie.
Re: Ansley or Lainey
Are you up for suggestions?

Lauren. Ashley. Amanda. Lindsay. Willa. Violet. Theresa. Willow. Josephine.
I don't even like Liesl or Simone but I think they're better than the two you have and sounds like something you'd like.
