Why is my fetus on the opposite side?

I don't know if I am just paranoid, but it looks to me like my baby is growing on the opposite side from everyone else I have seen! I'm 7 weeks and it looks to be like Pickle is sitting on the bottom like a rock where as everyone else I see has a floaty fetus near the top? Am I losing my mind?? I have a history of loss and any weirdness scares me.

Mine has been at the bottom too.  Don't look for reasons to let PgAL mind get you!

I'm not a medical professional, but could the difference be a transvaginal versus a regular ultrasound? I just had both and my baby "moved" based on the type of ultrasound.

Did they say anything about the position of your placenta? Is it low lying or previa? If not, I wouldn't be concerned!

It is the way the vaginal probe is turned. It's like turning a cell phone upside down. You'll get an upside down picture. (I am guessing it was vaginal considering how early you were.)

My little one looks like your little one and my doctor said he/she 'was perfect and all tucked in ready to grow) so don't worry too much

My first ultraound baby was on the bottom (6 w 2 d). The one yesterday (9 w 5 d) baby was smack in the middle facing the ultrasound. Looks like a floating teddy bear. My daughter's u/s at around the same time she was on the bottom and profile view. Your baby is going to be all over the place till you run out of room towards the end. Try not to overannalyze.
