MMC follow up and Question about RPL Bloodwork results

I had my follow up today and found out I still have not miscarried. They are giving me another dose of cytotech. My RPL blood work was great except for a positive on the SCL-70 antibody test. Does anyone know what this is and how it effects pregnancy. I have been referred to a high risk doctor but my appt isn't until the 21st and Dr. Google does not seem to be very helpful.

I am so sorry that you haven't yet passed everything. I have absolutely no insight on the test, but I hope someone here does. (((Hugs)))

@furrypaws That is what I got to.  It seems to be a skin disease which I have no symptoms or signs of, but can't figure out how that would effect pregnancy.

@LDubHawksFan.  This is the third and hopefully last.  Luckily my doctor said there is no rush because it is only measuring 5-6 weeks so I could wait it out and I would only need a D&C if I got impatient.

@PetraStonegirl Thank you so much for your response and extra info about scleroderma.  When we meet with the high risk doctor, I will ask if they think an RE would be needed.  One of the ladies I work with is married to a doctor.  He knows a very good fertility doctor and I will ask at the appt. if I can get a referral to him if necessary..  I am assuming fertility doctor is the common name for an RE.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

Generally, but not always.

You can look specifically for an RE with an autoimmune specialty. I was able to find one pretty quickly in my neck of the woods b/c I have high ANA. 

I would look specificially for an RE. As @meredithcarole pointed out, they're not always REs.
