Re: Morning nap

  • Same as @babylentilbean, we were doing 2 but she started not wanting to go down for a nap at that time, so we pushed it back to 3 hours. Her 2nd nap is between 3-3.5 hours after her first.

The only problem we've run into is she generally starts to get grumpy well before her naptime, but if I try to put her down any earlier she'll either refuse to go to sleep or only sleep 40 mins. I also figure the grumpiness could be teething, wonder week, or any number of other factors.

  • He's up 1.5 hours, sleeps 1.5, up 2-2.5 & then sleeps 1.5-2, up 2.5-3 cat nap on the way home & then early bed.

Ditto. Except it's not a cat nap on the way anywhere lol. It's a cranky cat nap at home when parents are trying to eat/cook/workout
  • Depends on what time he gets up for the day.
If up at 7 - naps at 11 for one to three hours then is up til bedtime. Maybe a catnap (20 min) in the afternoon.
If up at 8 - nap at 1 for about 2-3 hours.
If up at 9 - he naps at about 2 or 3 pm for 2-3 hours.
Bed time is usually between 8:30-9:30.
  • Wake 730ish nape 930-10ish and lasts anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours seriously so random

Same here!! She looks tired after 2 hours but is not interested in nursing/napping at all so I just let her play. So it's more like 3 hours. Then she naps for about 1.5 hours. She is teething so like @g33kyg1rly said, that could be why she is avoiding her nap.
  • ^^Quote fail but too tired to fix it

    +1... especially the randomness.
  • Usually 2.25 - 2.5 hours after wake up, he takes a nap for 1-1.5 hours.  Then another nap after being awake for 2.5-3 hours.  The second nap is 45 min - 1 hour.  He's awake for 3-4 hours before bed after that last nap.
