Re: +++ 3rd Tri Check-In 1/7 +++
My next appt is next Thursday. I saw on their patient portal that the one dr I really do not like was scheduled to assist my dr (who I requested) for my c/s. Boo to that. Hopefully she doesn't even speak to me.
My exciting update is 34 days of work at most before my leave starts!! Woohoo!
My cold turned into a sinus infection. Went to the dr's over the weekend and was back there with Monday a.m. with DS. His flu test was negative thankfully. He was home Monday and Tuesday and is starting to feel better today. I signed him up for his last swim session before baby comes and now I'm saying what the hell was I thinking! Oh I know, that he loves it... it's not about me. This is the last session I have to get in with him and then he'll move on to group lessons. Yay! I'm sure I'll be back in with baby in a few months though.
QOTW: The nursery is not completely ready. The furniture is all put together in there, but still cleaning it out because it was an extra bedroom. It's a sports theme.

33 weeks! Can't believe I will meet her soon. Have an OB appt this Friday. I'm getting really nervous on the cervical checks and start of labor. I feel pretty lucky that I haven't had any serious issues and being almost 47 in few months but damn I'm tired and having a hard time walking. I feel like she is ready to come out!! Guess being uncomfortable is part of 3rd trip lol.
QOTW: Crib and furniture are in room. Glider stick needs put together and pictures still need hung up. Oh and valences too. Here is a pic of out crib skirt which I had to exchange for right length.
ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

May 27th-Beta #1 80; May 29th- Beta #2 304; May 31st- Beta #3 860
QOTW: nursery is coming along but I got stuck at windows. Blinds are up, but I'm still working on curtains. Paint is all done and closet shelving is done. Clothes are all washed and some stuff has made it into drawers. Got my glider today (yay!) but it's still sitting in my garage in the box. Almost there! Furniture is built but I'm not allowed to build the crib until after baby is born (superstitions). The nursery will have owls, but I didn't want to make an owl "theme" so took the colors from the fabric I'm using to make the window valance, crib skirt, and some toss pillows and painted the color block wall. The rest of the room is the middle-tone blue. The furniture will,be moved in there once I finish drilling all the holes for the curtains and I can deep clean.

I've been doing twice a week nst's and I had my insulin upped today by my mfm. I have an appointment with hopefully my new ob on the 20th. I can't wait to get away from this other practice! She tried to give me the tdap and an antibiotic that I'm allergic to. She has also been very judgemental and unhelpful with my GD. I'm done being bullied and can't wait to be out of there.
I'm feeling better and I'm still recovering from a cold. My energy levels are better so that helps a ton.
QOTW: DH just needs to put the closet doors back up after we had the closet organizers installed. I have a few items to put away on the daubed but overall I think we are ready to go. Our nursery theme is Starry Night.
TTC #2
Hi Ladies! I'll be 30 weeks on Saturday and I have an appointment next week. Everything is going well. I have weird pains under my boobs, but I'm getting used to them now. I leaked milk yesterday for the first time so that was interesting!
QOTD: The nursery is coming together. We are doing grey and yellow with some animals/elephants/giraffes here and there. The crib (need mattress though), dresser, rug, curtains, are all ready. The glider came off my registry so I'll hopefully get that at the end of the month along with some other touches. But it's in good shape! I may switch out the curtains though because I'm super picky.
Me: 29, DH: 30
Married: April, 2011; TTC: July, 2012
Dx: MFI; June '14 IVF w/ ICSI: 11R, 8M, 5F... 1 5dt, beta #1: 213, beta #2: 621, beta #3: 8545!
I'm 34w2d today and feeling decent. I have today off, and I'm living it up. I woke up with DH at 5:30am, had some breakfast and then snoozed on the couch with my dogs until 10am. Much needed after work and our busy weekend. We spent all day Sunday making freezer meals. I have to motivate myself to finish up a few more things today.
My OB appt was cancelled last Monday bc a delivery ran late, rescheduled for Friday and got a phone call walking into my appt that it was being cancelled too bc she had to run to a delivery. I didn't care, but thought it was kind of funny it happened twice in one week!
I ended up having an appt this past Tuesday, now I will go weekly! Crazy! Tomorrow is the fetal Echo and I'm just thankful my DH will be able to come with me. My OB said she is not worried, but I know I will be anxious going into the appt.
QOTW: the nursery is pretty much all set! We have grey walls and white furniture. We went with the pottery barn elephants theme and we received a lot of adorable elephant items at our showers. We have a nice grand swivel glider from PBKs with a white side table and lamp for nursing and reading to him/her. I just need to get some frames for the elephant pictures I ordered off of Etsy.
I'm 38w4d today. Only 10 days until my EDD!!
My next appointment is on Monday - just my regular 39w checkup.
Our final growth scan was this morning. Baby boy looks great! He's still head down, which I'm obviously happy about. His weight was estimated as 7 lbs 3 oz. I was surprised because he feels giant! Of course it could be off. I guess we'll find out soon
I'm still feeling pretty good, which I'm very grateful for. I have to pee often, but I still manage to sleep okay. My doctor really wanted me to try EPO which is kind of irritating me a bit. I was already close to 90% effaced last week, so I might stop taking it.
QOTW: Yep, we're all finished! I just have one more load of laundry to put away and I want to find some night lights with on/off switches to keep near the changing table and my glider.

Me: 30, DH: 32
My hx: uterus/hormones normal Dx: low AMH 0.5 = poor ovarian reserve
hubby hx: low sperm count, poor motility, started on clomid, retest in May showed no improvement, will be on clomid another 3 months, another retest scheduled for August
Started IVF #1: ~BFP Mentioned~
Thanks for the congrats!!!
Going on night 3 at home, I'm actually hooked up to the breastpump right now (buy a hands free pumping bra towards the end if you can! It was tough for me to get out of the house to buy this thing, but so worth it!). Breastfeeding is hard, baby doesn't have an efficient suck, so we are supplementing with pumped breastmilk. So feeding time takes us an hour between offering breast followed by pumped milk in bottle.
Recovery is a little rough post baby, guess no one ever talks about that part, learning a lot lol, but so worth it in the end! A little messed up down there post >9 pound baby! And leg swelling, holy cow! Take home as many mesh panties as possible!
Anyways, good luck on the rest of your journeys. PM me if you guys have any questions

You can add me to the list too! After being admitted and staying in hospital for preeclampsia the babies were delivered via c section on Tues Jan 5, at 33+5. Liam Francis was born at 8:47pm weighing 3lbs,14oz followed closely by his sister, Emily Elizabeth at 8:48, weighing 3lbs7oz. Both babies are in NICU but doing very well. Their breathing has been good since birth. They're doing phototherapy right now for a little jaundice but overall they're such little fighters, they're amazing!
My pree actually got worse after delivery and I was a mess for a few days. Blood work and BP were all over the place, issues with potassium and my kidneys. But alas, I'm finally on the mend. I was discharged yesterday which was bittersweet. Glad to be out if hospital but so very hard to leave my little ones there. I am balancing recovery with wanting to be there all the time! I have never been so in love - with them and with my husband who has been beyond incredible through all of this
Team Purple!!!!
I'm glad you are back home @dp21 have fun at your newborn photo session!

How far along are you? 38w5d
Upcoming appointments? Thursday
Any updates to share? Well I was sent to l&d on Wednesday evening when we thought I was leaking AF - turned out everything was fine but the MW there was concerned about how bad my feet were swelling and my BP was borderline high. So they took some bloods, which came back fine and BP went down so I was discharged but told to go to my doc's office the next day to do a BP check and to do a 24-hr urine test - fun, not! But I went the next day and BP was a bit high .. so again, we went to l&d. Thankfully, it was a short stay, as my BP went down again. So now I wait have an appt on Thursday .. hopefully by then I'll be dilated or effaced or something! Because during all these visits, they would check but my cervix would still be closed. When they hooked me up to the monitors, they did say I was having contractions so that's good, I guess!
How are you feeling? Good - couldn't sleep last night but otherwise, ok.
QOTW: almost done! Just have to hang curtains and finish up that last drawer for the dresser - just waiting on replacement pieces since we saw them broken in the box! Since, we will be using the pack n play in the beginning, we were really glad to finish that up! Took about 3 hours to do - Very annoying! We have a butterfly type theme for the nursery .. mostly I just liked the colors pruple/lavender and blue/teal. Very pretty! I'll try to remember to take a pic and post later.
