Growth Percentiles?

I went to growth ultrasound yesterday (I'm 32 wks) and I was told that singletons should be at least at 50% percentile but they don't have twin charts. I was told one girl is at 17 and the other at 11 percentile - will start doing weekly scans now. Does anyone have insight or knowledge on this?  Of course I am freaking out

Mine have been compared to singletons the whole pregnancy and I've gone by those percentages.

Same for me.. My boys are measured on the singleton chart. My docs worry when there is a large discordance Btwn the two or if one/both fall below 10%tile. Could be a sign of an issue w/blood flow. Did they do umbilical dopplers? Or not... Since they both close in size.

@missem15 - yes, they did umblical dopplers, all was fine there. I am worried if they do fall below the 10%tile, what it actually means

My girls fell beneath the 10 percentile. At 31 weeks they were in the high teens/low 20s and at 35 weeks they both measured 5-10th percentile. They were mono-di no TTTS. I delivered at 36.3 via scheduled c-section and they spent almost 2 weeks in the NICU learning to eat. They were 4.3 and 4.7 at birth.

I think with my practice they just make sure they are growing & passing all NSTs/BPPs & they'd deliver once the babes fail one of those or gets low on fluid. My baby B was 10% three weeks and <10% Friday but he's doing great in his tests so I'm still pregnant.

By definition, half of babies will fall below the 50th percentile and half will fall above it.
