Beginning again

Those of you who are child #2+ what did you have to do to restart your fertility treatment?  What tests did you have to do?  Could you begin again where you left off (for example I conceived with IVF + AH)?   Anything else that I need to know?  I'm making an appointment with a new primary care soon and then we are planning on starting treatment.  (So much for my 6 month plan, I'm too impatient).

I never got a pp period and I weaned from bfing at 14 months so we could do IVF again. Dh and I had to repeat all blood work and he needed a new SA. I needed a repeat Shg, but not hsg. All our testing came back as expected for the most part. The one surprising thing wS my blood work and u/s were so baseline they didn't need to induce a pp bleed and we just jumped right into stims.

We were doing an FET when we went back, so I also needed repeat infectious disease testing as well as an SHG. That was all!

I needed to get a SHG and a bunch of bloodwork.  DH has to have a new semen analysis.

We both had to do infectious diseases screening, I did HSG and hormone levels, DH did a repeat SA that they also froze as a backup.

Thanks ladies! We are hoping to start with a FET so hopefully we can go right in.
I've totally lost my acronym knowledge what is SHG again?

FET will be an easier start than fresh.

Shg is the sonohystagram-just saline:)

Since I had frosties, all I had to do was come in for a consult. My thyroid levels were checked and they required a hysteroscopy. That's it.

I got one PP period after DS, so when we decided to start trying for #2 I had to get back on meds to kick start that. I went straight back to my RE I wasn't going to mess around with trying on my own or anything especially since I wasn't getting a period. I had to get B/W and repeat HSG, they didn't have my husband do another SA, but we got PG after 4 cycles. So I imagine if we wouldn't have gotten PG he would have had to. They started me with pretty much similiar protocol to what I had been previously but we just did TI not IUI.

We are ready to start trying for #2. DS was conceived through IVF and we are now going through the process all over again. We had no embryos left over to freeze so we are basically starting from scratch. Blood work and SA's all over again, as well as a few additional test to try and figure out why we had no embryos left over.

We're trying on our own for a couple of months. DH does not want to spend $$ on another round of ivf
