Dandruff a pregnancy symptom?

I haven't had dandruff for years, and it seems to have returned. Has anybody experienced this as a result of pregnancy?

I live in Florida and winter has been mild even for us so far. Neither shampoo or conditioner has changed in a long time.

I'm not wondering if I'm pregnant because I have dandruff. I know I'm pregnant. I'm wondering if that is causing the dandruff.

Why would I jump from "I have dandruff" to "Maybe I'm pregnant"?

Since being pregnant I seem to have dandruff. Not sure if it's pregnancy related or just a coincidence but I've never had it before. Noticed it at about 6 weeks and now I'm coming up 15 weeks and it's getting a bit better.

If you lurk TTGP you'd see this type of thinking is extraordinarily common.

I have X symptom-- omg am I totes preggers?

Try some coconut oil on your scalp. Rub it in & let it sit after you shower.

My skin got very dry and itchy at the beginning of this.  I just switched my shampoo and conditioner and it helped right away.  I also try not to wash my hair more than 4 times per week.

@hellcat213‌ : even on first trimester the symptom spotting must mean pg posts get the side eye. Board culture & all that jazz.

You also can post most anywhere (save for the loss boards & trouble-TTC) with or without an occupied uterus.
