BFP, then a series of BFNs?

Hi All,

New here. I have a 3-yr-old boy and am TTC #2. We're on month 3.

I'm due for AF on or about Friday. Took a test last night, couldn't help myself, a digital CVS brand... and got a BFP.

Then took a ClearBlue dye test and a FRER. Both BFN.

Should I assume that I got a false positive -- or should I assume that the BFNs are false? I got my hopes up with that positive result, and now I'm pretty bummed out. Anyone had this happen to them? FWIW, I'm having similar symptoms as I did when I was pregnant with my first. But I could be imagining that.

Wait until Friday and test again but not before.

You are supposed to take the tests with your first morning time pee. If you take later in the day, you can get a false negative. Did you take the negatives later in the day but the positive in the morning? If so, that could be the issue.
