RLP or something else? **update-T&P please**

Sorry I know this has been talked about frequently on this board but I couldn't find any recent post about RLP. This pain started last night and has continued today. My uterus is still low. Below my belly button. And I feel pressure in my uterus and all around it. It only last for a few seconds. I wouldn't compare it to cramps really. More like a dull, uncomfortable pain or pressure. It happens often within an hour. Should I be super concerned or do you think it's RLP? I have nothing to compare it to so I'm kinda freaked out. Thanks ladies.

Update- My dr is sending me to L&D triage to figure out what's up. He didn't really like he way I was explaining my discomfort and pain. Please send positive vibes my way. You guys know I'm so worrisome and I'm absolutely terrified at the moment. I'll keep you guys updated. I'm waiting for my mom to pick me up and we are meeting DH at his work... The hospital. The irony...

I've been having a lot of pain and called my OB today b/c it was getting close to period-like cramps.  They told me that after 20 weeks, they tend to see ladies suddenly feel more pain and it's likely RLP pain.  It feels very different to me when it's in the middle versus the sides...but that's what they told me, and they said not to worry unless there was bloody discharge.  So...I'm thinking it's normal?  I still don't like it, but since I see other people experiencing it, I wouldn't worry unless it gets worse.

I think I'm going to call them anyways for a peace of mind. I guess I should mention too that I'm 19 weeks tomorrow. But you're right @gsancho‌ it's not so comforting. I don't like it either.

I've had a lot of pressure and a few sharper pains, too. 

Today I was diagnosed with a shortened cervix so they are watching me closely . The Dr. said to be cautious but some strtching and pressure is expected.

18-20 weeks is good timing for RLP. Also, the remnant of our own umbilical cords becomes a ligament-like structure that extends from belly button to bladder. It's being stretched now and can be quite uncomfortable. That, of course, is right in the middle. Probably nothing. Stay hydrated and don't hold your bladder, since that stretches it out even more. Check in with your OB for comfort, but sounds like you're right on schedule!

I ended up having a cervical exam around the same time for RLP cramping. It was nothing for me, and I hope it's no big deal for you! Absolutely no harm in getting it checked out.

T&P it's just some ligament pain! I had the same thing around 20 weeks and it feels so terrible...like how can't something be wrong? My ob pretty much said the same as everyone else though! Good luck!
