My pain in my hip has subsided. My hair seems to be thinner now though, must mean that the hormones are back in track right? Doesn't hair get thicker during pregnancy? Anyhoo, its thinner then before. Weight feels like I'm starting to lose some, I think it's more from quitting breast feeding though. Feeling pretty much back to normal.
@augustusgoose - I think it is common for hair to fall out post partum... something to do with the hormone shifts, I'm sure. Mine was super thick during pregnancy and then thinned out too.
I'm glad you posted this. I keep thinking of starting a SS thread, because I'm having kind of an issue.
I have this weird pain below my C-section scar. At first I thought it was a pulled muscle, but now it occasionally is just a random stabbing pain when I'm resting, too. It feels internal, if that makes any sense. I have a dr's appointment on Thursday to get it checked out.
Otherwise, I'm OK. Still have 6 pounds to lose. My hair is starting to grow back and just looks like baby bird fuzz around my temples. I finally went last week and had my e-ring resized because I don't think my fingers are going back to their old size.
@lest12- I have been having a similar pain below my scar as well. Do you have it on just one end? I was wondering if this was something I should call my dr about.
@frenchchocolate611 - yes! Just my left side. It's so weird. It has been going on for a while but I finally made the Dr. appointment because it was painful when I was just sitting or lying down (as opposed to when I was up, moving around, pulling it).
Hopefully we are both fine but I will let you know what the dr says, if you want
Hair is growing back, it looks ridiculous. Hip still hurts when running. Still sweaty at night. My boobs are unrecognizable. Seriously weird looking now.
Still losing hair like crazy- anyone else still having this issue? Looking at pictures from the holidays, I was actually able to see bald spots on my head- eew!
My hair is not falling out quite as much!!! I have a lot of re growth...but it's coming back curly?!?!?! I've also had some pain around my c-section scar, but it's probably because my wiggle worm tries to stand on it!

Mine is on my left too and I get it just sitting around too - so weird! If you could let me know what you find out that would be awesome!
I have the c-section scar soreness as well, it is also tender to touch again.
My thumb finally seems to have stopped dislocating, but I still have nighttime numbness in my hands. Aside for the c-sec tummy shift, my body is back to normal. I'm finally losing the rest of the baby weight as well.
My epidural/spinal spot kills me at night when I lay down occasionally. A nurse friend told me that goes away in "weeks to a year" oh yay!
Mentally I feel like I am not drowning anymore. Some days I still feel like I'm sinking, but most days and nights I'm getting through without a breakdown.

I had a postpartum physical therapist tell her interesting theory she has about this---she thinks women's scars are tighter (and more uncomfortable) on the side the surgeon stands on because there's more pulling and stretching. Just curious if you know which side your OB was on?
ETA: her theory holds true for me. Pain on the right, surgeon on the right

Weird - my OB did say that I would have more pain on the side she was on because that is the side where she tied off the stitches and the incision was bigger because of that. That was true for me at first as she was on my right, but now this lingering pain I have is on my left.
My c-section scar and stretch marks seem to be irritated a lot for no reason (covered and uncovered as far as clothing). I'm pregnant again, but it was like that after I had my son June 14, 2014 (before this pregnancy).
Well, my hair FINALLY stopped falling out in handfuls! My period is attempting to return, I just have some spotting. I was down 15lbs from prepregnancy after I delivered and lost another 5-10lbs at 6 weeks out, but have since gained all 20ish pounds thanks to some steroids I was on last month. So that sucks. I quit BF'ing/Pumping almost 2 months ago and I still leak. I tried restarting BF'ing but DS is not having it.

My hair also fell out in chunks and I lost a lot at my hairline and at the back of my neck. The hair by my temples now sticks up & is almost an inch long. I can't pull my hair back, or I look like I got my hair cut by a toddler. Someone mentioned night sweats, I too wake up sweaty still. I had GD during pregnancy and hardly put on any weight, ( morning sickness for the first 5 months helped with this too). Now I have ballooned! I stupidly ate whatever I saw, as I was so deprived before. Now I'm starting a new diet to get it all off. Feeling better mentally, but teething and night awakenings is driving me nuts.
