We're always looking to add to our collection! I mostly try to pick books I don't mind reading so the intended audience is sometimes a little older than DD but she still seems interested enough when I read no matter what it is. We have lots of Little Golden Books but I find most of them too long, she tends to drop out ½ to ¾ of the way through.
What are you reading to LO these days?
Re: Books
Some of our favs from the library are:
Gaston by Kelly DiPucchio
Anything by Steven Kellogg
Curious George series
Dinosaur, ROAR
Corduroy
Golden books
Mike Muligan and his Steam Shovel
Dr Sues books
Curious Goerge books
He doesn't seem to rip the paper books anymore, so he actually has them on a bookshelf in his room and picks them out by himself.

We have hundreds of books, literally. Probably 50+ Little Golden Books saved from my childhood along with easily a hundred others (my parents were child book hoarders and it has been such a great thing!). Oodles from gifts, garage sales, Goodwill.
DD LOVES reading, as do I so we are constantly adding/sorting the collection.
Favorites right now - LBG (always), Bearenstein (sp?) Bears, Fancy Nancy, Mr. McGee, Dr. Seuss, anything with a princess, train, or junk food (cake, cookies, etc.)
IVF FET - BFP, due April 2017
Starlight Sailor
Harold and the Purple Crayon
Personal Penguin
And a few random picture books she loves. It's adorable to see her pointing and saying so many different words.
