Nightmare ?

Ds is 6.5m and last night he woke up screaming crying hysterically I couldn't get him to wake up or calm down.. It lasted about 2-3 minutes then he finally opened his eyes looked terrified.. Once he calmed he went right back to sleep. It happened once before and it's so scary and sad not to be able to help him, I tried to comfort him but it didn't seem to do anything until he was ready to call down.. Any suggestions?

Could be a night terror? They're rare in babies this young but might be worth looking into...
