DH and I both agree on Nathan (Nate) as a first name, but can't agree on a middle name. WDYT about Nathan Michael, Nathan Charles, or Nathan Victor (Mom's maiden name?)?

My cousin's name is Nathan John which I really like, but John is also a family name. I like when people give the kid their own first name but use a family name for the middle, so out of the names you listed I prefer Nathan Michael.
I think people get hung up on how the mn sounds - aside from when the baby is born, your son will not be called by his full name often. That said, I'd go for your mom's maiden name - Our Luke's middle name Rolf is my mil's maiden name. It doesn't roll off the tongue but it's very meaningful.
Of your choices, I think that I like Nathan Michael the best.

Re: Middle name for Nathan?
I like Nathan Charles... I think with Nathan i'd go with a 1 syllable middle name or 3-4 syllable.
Nathan Gray
Nathan Grant
Nathan Troy
Nathan Gabriel
Nathan Frederick
Nathan Matteo
Nathan Xavier?
my friend named her baby nathan john.
although if there's a family connection with one of the other names, i'd probably go that route as long as it didn't sound like ass.?
Like from One Tree Hill? :-) I agree it sounds good, but maybe i just think so bc I am addicted to the silly teen drama!
I like Nathan John
Nathan Charles.
I would say Nathan Victor since it is a family name.
My DS is a Nate, short for Nathaniel
