Hey I just wanted to let you guys know that I did get a Mod to change my username finally, I was formerly chynnabryant but I am now kohlsmommie22. I just didn't want you guys to not know me or think I was some new random. (If anyone cared lol)I won't keep this post up long, just letting everyone know. Happy Monday!

Lol I've never found really anything interesting enough there, I think I bought a maxi dress a couple years ago. Yeeeep, that's about it. And there's one right down the street. Kind of ironic that its my sons name and I don't like the store. :-?

No, not at all. They jack up prices and have "sales" that bring the prices to still high prices IMO. I'm not fond of the brands either. But I'm kinda picky that way. They are on my crap list. Took 45 minutes to get them to price march some asiscs and come to find out they overcharged me and took my kohls cash. Took TWO hours on the phone to get my $ back.. Yep I hate them. And I did a return a year ago and never got my $ back. Jerks.

I hate when friends brag about the 200% they saved on their last Kohls trip. I have to assume that the Kohls business model is built on Americans that are bad at math and don't understand actual value of goods.

It's a complete scam!! The whole kohls cash thing is a joke too. They prey on American ignorance for sure.

The prices even after the 'savings' are still overpriced.  I totally agree with you about their business model.  

I tried to make a wedding registry there and the lady at the counter didn't know how to work the scanner, she kept calling the manager who took FOREVER to come and help.  She had to call her up 3 seperate times and it still wouldn't work, and the manager basically avoided me.  It was terrible costumer service, I ended up being there for 45 mins and no registry.  I eventually said fuck it and left.

I guess I'm the SS. DH went Christmas shopping at Kohls and bought me a maternity shirt and pajamas that I love. I've never seen their maternity section though, so maybe he just got lucky.

Kohl's is always a waste of my time with the exception of a cute $4 maternity top I found when my mom drug me in there!

Lol I actually like kohls, except maternity... Before pregnancy I got a lot of clothes from the Lauren Conrad collection. Everything actually fit me perfectly for once in my life and super cute. That's probably shot to hell now. Also I like their shoe selection... Only place I've found comfy flats. Still kicking myself for only buying one pair of the last ones I got there. Also got my bedding for crazy cheap. $350 set for $150... Not too shabby in my opinion.

I'm Canadian but live in a border city and the nearest Kohl's is about a 10 minute drive from my house and I really like the store... but that's probably because everything is a better deal compared to stores in Canada, even with the exchange rate.

My MIL is totally a sucker for the kohls deals. I get DS some clothes there sometimes but I like target clothes better lol.

Kohl is a German last name @redneckmomma25‌ . Mine in particular. No one ever spells it correctly when I say it and it's horribly annoying. I tell my DH that I'm going back to my maiden name all the time bc at least that is an 11 letter Italian name I wouldn't expect anyone to spell or sound out correctly.

DH needed some Hanes white Tshirts so we grabbed a 5 pack at Kohl's not thinking to check the price (they're plain white undershirts, how expensive can they be?).  We got up to the register and the lady rung them up at $36! We both looked at her in shock. She then put in a discount that brought them down to $27. Um, still, NO!  I'm guessing they had marked them up and we grabbed a pack before they had a chance to add them to one of their "60% off sales."

We also bought some curtains for our bedroom there during a 50% off sale.  Then saw the exact same curtains at KMart not on sale but still $1 cheaper.

Our Kohl's got rid of their maternity sections, so...but my husband has a great saying for Kohl's- "where the prices don't matter and the savings are made up."

Our local Kohl's is only good for buying Levi's and cute picture frames when they're on sale.  The maternity section is literally 1/3 of one wall, but I did buy a single pair of maternity jeans there because they were on "sale" that brought them down to everyone else's regular price and I didn't feel like bargain hunting that day.  Meanwhile, if you want maternity, Old Navy has a surprisingly affordable and large selection.

Also, not a Kohl's fan.  Occasionally they send out $10 gift cards in the mail and I will go in and get a toy for DD for Free.  Other than that they are WAY overpriced.

I have a family member named Koal. His mother was trying to be creative. He hates it and is in the process of getting it legally changed to a legitimate name.

I went to Kohls the other day while bingeing on baby clothes buying. Not impressed. Definitely agree that it's overpriced. The Carter's stuff was actually cheaper at the Carter's outlet or BRU. Boo.
