Weston/Wesley

We just found out that baby #2 is a boy and are starting to think of names. Our first son is named Colin. We were talking about either Weston or Wesley (nickname Wes) as a possibility...what do you think of those names? I feel like Wesley is a more classic name, BUT our last name is one syllable and rhymes with tree so I'm wondering if Wesley would be too rhyme-y with our last name. What do you think?

Wesley is best. It's fine if your last name sounds like "tree", not too rhyme-y in my opinion. Colin and Wesley are a nice sib set.

Wesley, for sure. I know two toddlers named Weston and that's a rarity for me (I don't know that many young kids), so it feels very over-used to me.

I think it depends on the LN, if it's two syllables and rhymes with tree, it could get rhymey. If it's one syllable, then it wouldn't bother me.

Thanks for the feedback so far...I think I'm cutting out Weston. Now we just need to decide if the rhyming factor will bother us. I'm glad to see that some others think it's fine, I guess I'm just sensitive about the rhyming because my married name is soooo rhyme-y and it drives me crazy (Kelly Marie "Tree"...awful, I know) but we obviously wouldn't make the middle name rhyme like mine does...maybe something like Wesley Michael "Tree."
