Hi @rmpar29‌, thanks for the check in! I hope having the holidays over has given you a little stress relief. I know you mentioned last week it had been tough. I hope you're feeling a little better

AFM, I think maybe signs of O coming? CM seems promising. I would like to start temping next cycle, but I'm having a few issues there. Maybe some ladies have some advice. I work rotating shifts, so sometimes I work at 3p, and sometimes 11p. When I work the overnight I sleep from maaaaybe 9-noon when I get home. So I'm not sure I would ever get a reliable chart. Any advice with temping and crazy sleep schedules?

My mom is scheduled for surgery on Friday. I'm trying to stay super positive that it's a good sign they're doing surgery... Means her cancer is manageable. It was inoperable in September. Any healthy thoughts sent her way would be so greatly appreciated.

I hope everyone has a good first real week of January. Still hoping 2015 is significantly better than last year... ((Hugs)) to all!!

My DH and I are doing well.  I have started the OPKs no news yet but I should be approaching my FW later in the week.  I'm still waiting on that positive.  I think our plan for this time is to try to HIO every other day. Hopefully we have good luck this cycle.

@Leahks77 - Hmmm...swing shifts are hard.  I know I've seen advice on FF on what to do with that situation.  Most important than temping at the same time is temping after 3 hours of sleep.  Maybe focus on that part of it?  I know a long-time bumpie that had horrible insomnia temped whenever she first woke up and always saw a clear temp shift even though her times were all over the place.  I've seen, with my own temps, that temping at different times gives me a rocky charge, but a clear shift.  Temping with less than 3 hours gives me obvious wonky temps.  (Check out CDs 8 and 10 on my chart).  I will be keeping your family in my T&Ps!

@catvaugh5002 - Good luck to you this cycle.  I hope your O comes right on time.

AFM: I just realized I didn't update.  I O'd over the weekend, so I'm now entering the TWW.  Just waiting...waiting...waiting.

My EDD was 6/13/15

Whats hard about that date is its my moms Birthday as well as my newest nephews...he will be 1 yr old this coming June. Mom was so excited to supposed to have had another Gbaby present the second year in a row. Im sure she will understand the bit of sadness thats bound to be there. My mom has been very good to me.

As for moving on and where we are in the TTC journey. I am currently Benched. Im on instruction to call my OB for a checkup at the end of this month and start a complete workup to see where my reproductive health is. Starting with my Thyroid. She doesn't want us TTC again till thats done because Im AMA even though this is my only MC.

Aside from that I need to have a real serious sit down with H as well about moving forward. Im a month after my MC as of today and Im still spotting everyday. So no AF obviously. Im going to work on losing weight in the meantime.

@KirstenAlecia - I'm so sorry that you find yourself here.  Welcome to the check-in.  Did you have a hard time conceiving?

@rmpar29 We did take a pretty long time to conceive. It took over 3 years. However we did not chart, so honestly Im not sure if the problem was one of us or me just not knowing my body. I also didn't have any kind of testing to look for fertility issues. 

 H was just about to go get a SA done when we got our BFP since that is the easiest thing to do. I would have gone to the OB next to start testing if he came back normal. 

We were about to take these steps to see if we needed to put the baby plans to bed and go for option B which was travel and enjoy our lives and each other child free. We had the talk right before the BFP. Decided that we were so happy in our marriage that we really didn't feel something was missing. We truly enjoy each other so much that we would enjoy traveling the world together. 

The MC has changed me a bit on that. It has mad me feel like I lost something wonderful. H isn't on that same page at all....far from it. While he was excited about the BFP he never connected to the pregnancy at all. In fact told me he was doing so on purpose. Told me until we were "safe" he wasn't going to allow himself to feel anything about it.....although he was a very doting and attentive daddy to be (even bought diapers) while we were pg. But that was more about me than a LO. He always says he expects and prepares for the worst. He was definitely true to this statement.

@rmpar29‌ thank you! She did not contact me. This woman from church really is the sweetest. She told my husband yesterday that she has us on the top of her prayer list and that she tells God that he might have our one and only little one but that we would really love one here on earth. She makes me cry all the time. Oh! My hubby also got me a memorial necklace for Christmas. Hopefully I can get the picture to work..

I am honestly not "in it" this month. H and I have had a streak of bad luck since December and TTC is just not taking over my brain as it normally has. I have started the pre-natal vitamins from the baby making kit (lol) and will start the other stuff 5 days before O. I cant wait to use the bath oil since I seriously need to de-stress. With all of our bad luck, I am trying so so so hard to remain positive.

@rmpar29‌ Thanks for the check in. Temping is still going well except that I haven't made myself temp as early on the weekends. I started spotting today so AF should show up soon. So I should be having a bench burning!

Well I've kind of had a shit week TBH. AF showed starting Thursday/Friday with brown gross stuff and then fully came on Saturday (counted that at CD1) I had such high hopes of getting lucky for cycle 1 but hey, I guess it'll have to be next month. Then starting Friday I also had a wicked sore throat....got worse....fever, chills, sore ears.....anyway took my arse to the walk in and have a bacterial throat infection, which has been great.
so I basically haven't been in in a week! Sorry
I'm hoping to get on later to check in with everyone else as I'm mobile right now.

Hey ladies, *hugs* to you all!

I'm doing ok, better than the last few days which were hard for some reason. I'm hoping it was due to PMS (CD1 was yesterday, on my anniversary at thay boooooo).

We are still TTA, waiting for the RE appointment on the 21st. Hopefully we will decide what we are going to do at that time.

This is hard one for me because I want it all! I'm not big on huge houses so no mansion but I want a nice size house on some land but I don't want to be far away from grocery stores and stuff. Oh, a huge, separate 6+ car garage would be a must

@rmpar29 thank for you the check-in. TBH, I am not 100% certain if I am ready to be completely back or not. I may be less active for awhile and check-in now and then or I may be more active - I am going to play this by ear & day by day.

I meet with my OB tomorrow to see where we go from here. This is my second loss in 4 months and both before 6 weeks. I am hoping we can do some blood tests and see if there is anything we can do to have a full term pregnancy the next go around. It appears we have no problem conceiving - it's just the pregnancy progressing. I know 2 early losses doesn't really cause much concern and I am preparing myself for no answers. I am just not sure how I will handle chalking this up to a fluke again and to only get "these things happen".

I missed the QOTW... I would live in a fairly large house on lots of land. Mountains, preferably. Far enough from neighbors but near a town... Kind of like where I grew up in VT

@KirstenAlecia - OK, now I'm remembering your intro.  I hope you and DH can have a talk about things and get on the same page as to what you want to do going forward.  If you are going to try again I would suggest starting to temp to see what your body's doing.

@Frenchteachermama - Thanks love!  Nice to see you!  :-h

@kittymeowbark - I'm sorry that you've had bad luck.  I'm always here if you need to vent.  Maybe a relaxed approach is what you need this month.  Have you heard anything back about your monitor?  Many (((((HUGS))))) hon!

@jordangoodnight - I'm glad that your temping is going well.  If you'd like, send me a friend request through FF so I can stalk you - rmpar29.  I don't wake up earlier on the weekends to temp either.  My temp is always a bit higher than during the week, but I still see a clear shift.

@kingscross145 - I'm sorry that you ended up sick.  I hope that you are feeling better soon.  Chances of conceiving each cycle are small.  You definitely have to give it some time.

@readinglove - YAY for a bench burning!!!  I completely understand the anxiety that comes with TTC again.  Good luck at your SHG and remember to take some Ibuprofen or Tylenol ahead of time just to help with the uncomfortableness. 

@Nikolie93 - I'm glad that you are feeling a bit better now.  CD1 on your anniversary...that sucks donkey balls!  Have you had any testing done?

@MrsOscarFelix - Take as much time as you need hon!  We are always here when you can check-in.  Were you on Progesterone?  I know some REs don't qualify 2 losses as RPL, but some do.  My RE counts 2 as RPL.  If you are unhappy with your OB appointment it might be worth looking into REs in your area.  I know a few bumpies that wished they had looked into it after 2.  Andplusalso, you might want to check with your insurance too.  Some will cover an RE after 2, but some won't.  Many ((((((HUGS)))))) love!

@Leahks77 - I actually hardly ever drink.  I don't like the feeling of being buzzed and being drunk is horrible.  I love the taste, but hate the side effects.  It would probably help me relax a bit though.

@Rcvb22 - That is an extremely short LP.  I'm glad that the Estrace worked before and I hope that you have a good appointment on Thursday.  Will you be doing another FET?

Doing well this week! Thanks for the check in. We just got back from an anniversary trip to st.lucia. Expedia made a terrible mistake and we didn't have a hotel room the first few nights- ended up having to pay an arm and a leg to stay somewhere else- but it was so nice to get away and not having to be around family..... As bad as that sounds!

Came home to a mess of a house though from christmas, boy was that fun to clean up. How have you been doing?

As you know I've still benched myself. Trying not to go back on birth control so I can start to track my cycle and see if I can ever get some normalcy in it. It's always been all over the place and with us not TTC this month it's seems even worse! I did have FF when we were first trying but haven't been using it since the d&c. There's a fee, correct? You all seem to use it so maybe I'll start up again....

@rmpar29 I have my RE appointment on Jan 21st so I will find out then when testing will begin, if I decide to move forward

@rmpar29‌ no I was never in progesterone. I just left the OB and we are running blood work to see if we can come up with anything. If the blood work doesn't show anything I am going to be asked to be referred to an RE. I need the referral for my insurance.

@Rcvb22‌ we were scheduled to stay in the city of Soufriere, it's near the pitons! A little place in the mountains called la haut. However, they had no availability (as well as anywhere near us on the island). So we had to pay the difference to stay at jade mountain for the night (THE most unbelievable hotel that I've ever seen)..... And ladera the other 3 nights. Expedia covered one of the nights but had us pay an astronomical amount out of pocket for the others. I was so sick of being on the phone and arguing with them I finally agreed- but disputed the charges when I got home. I'll let chase deal with them! If you go again and want a more adventurous vacation I suggest Soufriere instead of the beachy side. The mountains views are just gorgeous and you can still hike and enjoy the beach! Where did yall stay?

@readinglove‌ great to know! Thinking I'll start it up again after this cycle- guessing I can still chart link without having to pay. Not that Id mind paying for the upgrade just wondering if it gives you better options.

@jones6863 - That sounds like a wonderful trip, but I'm so sorry for the mix-up.  How does that happen?  I hope you get some of your money back!  Yes, FF is free and you can still link.  The VIP has additional analysis tools.  I would wait until they are running a special on the VIP membership before you join that, if you want to. 

@MrsOscarFelix - I'm glad that they are running some b/w and could refer you to an RE.  IMHO, two losses that early in that short time frame points to an issue.  I'm so glad that they aren't making you wait for testing.  Many ((((HUGS)))  How are you holding up?

@MrsRed09 - Oh, how annoying!  I hope that your body starts cooperating soon.  And, yay for being off the bench!

@rmpar29 you know I feel better knowing we *might* get some answers soon. The second loss was worse for me. I think I just had it in my head the statistically the chances of having a second mc were so low, that I thought I was in the clear. With my first loss I had spotting for almost a week and kind of felt like something was off. This one came out of nowhere and totally caught me off guard. I have been hiding out and avoiding work/family/friends. Last time I didn't take the time I needed to heal and tried to move on and forget about it. This time I am actually letting myself mourn and allowing myself to feel however I want. It's actually helping me cope with everything better. It's day to day but I'm trying to be optimistic about the b/w and hope we have some answers soon. Thanks for thinking of me for the check-in this week, turns out I needed it more than I thought!

@Rcvb22‌ I heard sandals was fantastic! But like you said.... more for newlyweds! You really can't go wrong on any of those in Soufriere (la haut, jade, ladera or Anise Chanet). But if you want to go balls to the wall I would do jade mountain. Just save your dollars (it's stupid expensive) but it's once in a lifetime experience. Trust me, if I had known how amazing that hotel was we would have waited to go and paid the extra to stay there the whole time!
