New Baby's Room

I found this light I love to go over my rocking chair in the floral-themed nursery.  I like having a dimmer light than the ceiling light. 

The ebay auction comes with 2 of the 'shades' that will look much nicer than one based on reviews.  I submitted a best offer of $90 and got denied.  I'm thinking of submitting another for $100 instead of paying the $120.  Shipping is 10 bucks.  Should I just pay the $120 plus shipping and move on?  I can't find it in white anywhere else.  I don't know why I'm being such a fucking tight wad.  I've been looking at this light since I got pregnant with Winn.

Any other room suggestions?

I also want to hang a really dainty floral wreath, maybe with the first letter of her name on it. 

I want to do a DIY mobile but am at a loss for ideas.  Blah.

Dude, pay the $10 I'm like this too and then I end up missing out on something I love for $10. If it's something you'll kick yourself for, get it!

I would do another best offer before paying the full price. If the seller has best offer listed, I never pay full price.

I was actually thinking about your nursery this weekend. I was IG stalking livesweetphotography because she got a new piggie and thought her style would be so cute in a nursery for you. Her house is way too over the top for me, but one room like it would be amazing.

What about the wreath as the mobile. I used a wreath (just the twigs) as Leo's mobile.

No help, but that's all so pretty and feminine!  Love it!

As far as the DIY mobile, I didn't DIM, but got this one from ETSY...

You could probably do it yourself if you have a butterfly punch, fishing line and ribbon, but they do let you customize colors.

ETA: The girls actually loved staring up at it and batting it with their hands... we hung it over their cribs.

And I say just get the light, 120.

I think it's gorgeous.  Pay the $10 and call it a day on the light.

But I think you need this, because she's going to need a flamingo somewhere in her room.

And I have been pinning dream catchers too!!  We are on the same page

LOL that I thought I wasn't going to decorate the nursery back when I found out I was pregnant.  Now it's all I want to do.

And I forgot that I have lots of strings of these freaking adorable cloth fabric ball garlands that I made for W's room a couple years ago and never used.  I wonder what I can do with them.  They are such cute colors.
