Good Morning Ladies -

I'm not technically at a year of trying until next month, but thought this might be a good outlet for me in the meantime.  This journey has been so difficult, which i'm sure everyone can attest to.  My DH and I have a 3 1/2 year old DD, who is the light of our lives, and who was conceived on month 2 of trying without any help.  I think that's why trying for #2 has been mentally difficult for me, as nothing seems to be working this time around, and I can't make sense of it.  I'm 33 and my DH is 34.  I'm going to call this week to make an appt with my OB for next month just so I know I've made that step, but I'm scared and nervous and I know that's only going to make our last month of trying without help even more difficult.

    Thanks - I did read that book when we were TTC DD, and it was very helpful.  This time around we temped, used OPKs, and all that jazz for the first 9 months, beyond that I thought it might help to let all of that go and just have sex EOD for 10 days around when I ovulate (CD 19-21 consistently).  That didn't work either :(

    Hi welcome! I understand your frustration as we were the same way with DD. It's crazy how much our bodies can change in a few short years on the inside and we don't even know it. I agree with Lemonblossom about the RE...I know it makes it more "real" but I have found more comfort in knowing that there was a problem rather than the rollercoaster of not knowing why I wasn't getting pregnant.

    Anyway, I wish you luck and hope your stay here is short!

    ME: Submucosal Fibroid Surgery Date APRIL 14th 2015 -Left Tube is blocked by Fibroid~Surgeon removed 26 Fibroids from my Ute and Unblocked my Tube

    DH:Azoospermia...Thank God we have 12 vials of frozen swimmers

    July 15-Check to see if Ute is all healed

    Welcome! We have such similar stories :) I'm 33, DH is 35 and DS is 4.5. We concieved DS on our 2nd cycle as well. I went to my RE at the 13th month mark. I'm currently on my second medicated IUI cycle. After testing, my RE did find that i had a low ovarian reserve and high FSH numbers.

    Welcome to the board and best of luck to you. I agree with the other in regards to getting in to see an RE at the year mark. Hope your stay here is short!

    Hi and welcome. Hope your stay is short.
    Together since April 2004.  Married since June 19th, 2010.
     BFP #1: January 31st 2012: CP. 
     BFP #2: June 1st 2012, Due:2/8/13. Avery was born via unplanned c section on 2/13/13. 
     BFP #3: Sept. 25th, 2014. Due: 6/5/15.  MMC on 10/23/14. Confirmed complete molar pregnancy per D&C 10/29/14, 
    HCG officially negative 12/10/14.  Benched until June 2015.
