Soft water doesn't leave as much of an iron build up in your hair as hard water....but soft water makes it a lot harder to rinse stuff (shampoo/conditioner/whatever) out of your hair, so you kind of do still get a build up. I'm not sure how much it is there yet; I haven't even checked out the reviews. I'll have to do that. Anyway it was only $2.50 at Wal-Mart today.

I've been sleeping like 12 hrs a day because of 1st tri exhaustion, but that has slowly lifted. I noted the past few days that I have been "too much sleep" tired instead of exhausted tired. I also have to go back to waking up at 5:30 vs 11:30 in a week. So I decided to start waking up at 8:30 when MH gets up for work all week to get myself back in the groove.

I am MISERABLE today. I'm tired from getting up early, but I'm super sensitive to caffeine now that I've cut back so much, so I spent 3 hours of today trying unsuccessfully to take a nap thanks to my 9am coffee. I have papers to grade and lesson planning to do and books to write and I can't do any of it when I'm this sleepy. 

Hopefully Day 2 of this experiment goes a little better...and leaves me less of a grouch.

Just had NT scan today and got NIPT results.  No signs of Down's Syndrome or other trisomy, and....
It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!! Yay! How far along are you? I am being nosy and trying to gauge because I have my NT scan tomorrow hehe SO HAPPY FOR YOUR HEALTHY BABY! Where is the picture?

Apparently I'm having a rat. Had a dream that they did the NT scan tomorrow and the tech said its a rat. I looked at the screen and it wasn't a typical ultra sound. Looked like a tv. And there it was. A rat. With long tail and nails. Scurrying around inside of me like rats do. I lost my shit. Demanded to see the doctor. Doc comes in and she confirms its a rat. Asks me if I'm being strict with my diet because that can sometimes "do this". What the fuck!? I tell her I haven't and break down because I'm totally eating whatever I want. Haha then I demand an abortion. Right on the spot. To which she looks at me and goes (in her best condescending doctor voice) " ohhhh I'm sorrrryyyy. We don't do rat abortions here. Maybe someone else can help" and walks out

I woke up laughing hysterically and had to share with everyone that would listen. Including all of you!

That's one of the best "weird pregnancy dreams' yet!

I was on left waiting for A HOUR AND A HALF with AT&T. I was so mad. My husband asked if I wanted a tamale while I was on the phone and I just burst out in tears and hung up and threw my phone aside. F that BS!!

The tamale was good though.

I either overdid it today or I'm dehydrated because I've been having BH tonight. They are in my lower belly so harder to notice but definitely there.

These started at 17 weeks with my first, 15 weeks with my 2nd and now 12 with my 3rd. I'm not ready for all this.

@shelbutler I'm so sorry for your loss - losing a pet is so much harder than anyone can ever anticipate.  We lost one family dog to cancer and another in an accident within a few years and it was the worst. This may not be your style, but "The Heaven of Animals" by Nancy Tillman is really beautiful children's book.

This happened to me last week. Except I don't actually know the mom, the dad was a friend in high school. And she is having twins in July. When I saw the announcement, I wondered if she was here too.

@kissandglow‌ I'm stalking the announcement thread for three other July babies I know of (SO FAR!) I also know two women due in May. I feel like they'd recognize me before I'd recognize them... It does make think about what I post though.

I really could use a shrugging-shoulders emoji.

We just outted on Facebook the other day and I've been wondering the same thing since.

I wonder this all the time, especially when I'm commenting about my lack of sex life or bowel movements since getting KU. IRL I'm far too prudish to discuss.

My BIL and SIL who are both in med school and currently live with us as they can't afford life on their own return tomorrow from a visit in Europe. I missed them a little, but somehow I feel bad knowing that the house won't be just to myself anymore...which means, no more loud farting lol.

And now I'm sick. Threw up 3 times. Fell asleep for an hour and just woke back up feeling sick to my stomach and like I'm going to have diarrhea No fever so far so that's one plus.

Ok. Poop post - I pooped maybe like 7 times today. No diarrhea, just looser poop...tiny bits of it too. I feel a cramp, I poop. The cramp goes away. Normal?
