Yay! All my BG elastic is refreshed!

I finally finished refreshing the elastic in my 22 BG 4.0s.  I've needed to do it for a LONG time.  The first few took awhile, but it kept getting faster to do.  Two of them have cracked PUL, so they will be swim diapers.  I also made 26 two-ply hemp inserts to pair with the BG regular MF inserts.  I'm loving the no leaks again. :-)  Now, to find diapers to replace the two.....

Thanks to the ladies who posted that they were working on replacing their elastic.  You inspired me to finally get with it and work on mine!

I really need to do this on a couple of my GroVia shells. And maybe one or two BGs. Is it hard? (edited to mention I'm a novice)

@rugbymama, it's not that hard.  I did them all by hand.  I followed this tutorial:

The leg elastic and back elastic are all the same length for the BGs.

I threaded my needle so I was stitching with four strands at once, so it would go faster.  I wish I had done it a long time ago.

Glad to hear you did them by hand. That's my plan too. I think using my machine would be more of a hassle.
