Seriously, I've read that a few lady's on the board pump during the drive to or from work. How?!?! I fumble with the pump when I'm home and am using the hands free pump bra.
Hands free pumping bra. Set up before you drive. However, just like eating or talking on your cell is not recommended while you drive (some sources even discourage listening to music - yeah, right!) because of the distraction risks, it's not really recommended that you pump while driving.
I'm always dripping milk when I take the flanges off so I have a burp cloth ready always (hence the fumbling)...and I have a pretty long commute (45-50 minutes) so I guess it wouldn't work. @keelyd are you pumping the whole drive or just turning it off after a certain time?
Didn't think of a nursing cover though. I just picture seeing someone driving while pumping and it sort of makes me laugh. Must be interesting!
I've done it a few times with #1. I only did it when in a pinch but its not that bad or hard. I just always did compressions/massage when pumping and couldn't do them when driving of course so I didn't prefer it.
