Hi all, I would like to introduce myself and my baby girl! My name is Darby I am 21 years of age and I am the mother of a precious baby girl Joleigh! She was born on December 6th, 2014 at 26 weeks, 1 day, weighing 2 pounds! Today marks 1 month in the NICU, and it has been quite the experience! She is doing really well thus far! She is on CPAP, and getting full feeds! She does have a grade 2 bleed on her left side that they monitor with ultrasounds weekly it has gotten a bit worse, and that really concerns me but I am trying to stay optimistic! She is my precious girl, and I would love to hear other people's stories!!

Welcome! As you can maybe tell, it can be a bit slow around here, but there are some amazing and super helpful mamas. I am glad to hear your little girl is doing well! My DD is also a former 26 weeker who turns two on Thursday, I can't believe it! She had brain bleeds as well but they were a 4 and 2 so our issues were different.
